"Loved having them churn out the reels at a private party. (13th September 2025 Saturday Chesterton Road, Cambridge CB4) Couldn’t have been happier with our choice. I think they read the audience well and our (in) capabilities at following instruction, which meant that we did enough right to keep the dances going and cause enough confusion for fun and hilarity to shine through. "Lilac, Remko and all of the band are simply brilliant!! Wholeheartedly recommended! We hired Funk With Us to play at our wedding party. From the very first enquiry Lilac was super friendly, very considerate of what we wanted, flexible and always there to answer our questions and offer good suggestions on the song lists, set-up, etc. And the performance on the night was amazing!! High quality sound and musicianship, but more importantly the whole band did a fantastic job in creating a fun party vibe which got everyone dancing for hours. All of our guests commented for days afterwards how great they were! Thank you Funk With Us, you guys rock!!! ?"

"We booked Funk With Us for our wedding in October and wow, it was the best decision ever!! The music and dancing part of the wedding was so important for us and SWU absolutely smashed it - so much energy from start to finish - we (and our guests) never left the dancefloor. It exactly what we'd hoped for and dreamed of... especially after 2 postponements! We loved being able to choose our favourite music from the SWU repertoire - which Lilac then transformed into the perfect setlist for our party. After the wedding, so many of our guests commented on how amazing the band was - and its the music makes the party!! Huge thank you to Lilac and Remko for everything."

"Can't recommend Kodiak Avenue enough after they played for us at a family party. They were friendly, accommodating, and professional, but more importantly, talented! Aside from a beautiful voice and exquisite guitar playing, they pitched the playlist just right with some lovely song choices. It was a garden party so lots of distractions going on (small children etc.) but they managed to deliver a brilliant set in a very relaxed way. My parents were really happy with how the music went, as was I and everyone I spoke to."

"Joanne sang at our wedding reception... with me on guitar. It was a surprise for my wife, and involved much "secret" practice during the preceding weeks! Jo was incredibly accommodating and patient. Her voice is something special, and really brought a new dimension to the songs we played. My new wife, and our families, were blown away. A perfect performance... highly recommended!"
