"Normally i walk away when there's live jazz at the venues but these guys attitude is the right one! They really look down to earth playing the music they enjoy and the good vibe comes straight at your face putting a smile on it. Can't wait to cross their path again."

"I booked Mellowtone Jazz for my Mums 90th Birthday garden party. I cannot commend the band enough. I chose to have the trio and all 3 band members were so talented, friendly and accommodating. We we so pleased with the fabulous music they played. My Mum had the most wonderful time and she was so overwhelmed with it all. We had so much good feedback from our guests on how much they enjoyed the music. I would not hesitate to book Mellowtone Jazz again for our next party. "

"Duncan very kindly played at our wedding in June 2017. It was a beautiful sunny day and we were therefore lucky enough to have him playing outside where all of our guests were gathered as well. It was beautiful music and nothing too intrusive or loud. We chose the modern playlist with a few 'classics' in there so there was plenty of songs in there that everyone could recognise and we received several compliments from our guests about him. "We hired this band to play for 90 mins at our wedding. They were great to have playing while we ate canapés in the sun! They really helped to create a happy atmosphere and would definitely recommend them to anyone. Fantastic! "

"A massive thank you to Thomas for making our wedding day so special. Mark and I got married on 25th May 2019 and hired Thomas to play the steel pan after the ceremony to entertain our guests whilst we had our photographs taken. Everyone absolutely loved the music and were thoroughly entertained. Highly recommend! Lots of love from the new Mr and Mrs Feeney x"

"Sarah-Jane was fabulous. Great range of music, dressed for the occasion and interacted with guests which was a nice touch. Her range of music was exactly what we were looking for and the whole package really suited our event. In between sessions she took her time to speak to guests around the room which was a nice touch. Happy to recommend her and would definitely use again. "

"Simon was very easy to work with – and flexible on what the band could play. At very short notice they had to add some traditional bar mitzvah music to their repertoire, which they played very well. Also with almost no notice, Simon had to take over the role of MC during the later part of the evening, as our MC was slightly indisposed. He did that very well. The music was mainly dance music that most people could enjoy, either dancing or just listening to. We all loved it including my 20-year-old nephew who is studying piano at Trinity. Guests were dancing the night away and the music really added to the joyous atmosphere. And the sound level was kept at a reasonable level, so those who did not want to dance could still talk. We received lots of compliments on our choice of band. I definitely recommend them."
