"Dorchester Strings were incredible! They played beautifully during our drinks receptions, where is was so lovely to have them playing in the background. They mostly played modern music, that we had requested, so many guests commented saying it was like Bridgerton! Hearing them play was one of the highlights of our day, the only downside was we should have had them for longer as we had to go away for photos during part of our drinks receptions. We would highly recommend Dorchester Strings for any event and perfect for any wedding! "

"At Todmorden Lamplighter... OH MY WORD can they play! They're a dirty bassline with a stupid smile on it's face. Seriously funky brass, seriously well chosen crowd pleasers that, y'know, please the crowd! I am SO glad I booked them. So, so much fun. :)"

"We booked Mozzle Brocha through the LMMwebsite, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. Communication was fantastic throughout, and Mariana was supportive, thoughtful, and generous with ideas, including advice around timings and how best to shape the event. The music itself was outstanding. These are extremely talented, high-end musicians with a real mastery of klezmer. They were not just any old klezmer band, although we would have been happy with that. This was not background music. Everything was irresistibly danceable, with rich, confident musicianship, fantastic sound quality, and a set that completely held the room. The lyrics and Yiddish were beautiful and authentic, adding real depth and meaning to the performance. They went the extra mile by learning an additional song especially for us, which meant a great deal and was hugely appreciated. What really stood out was how the music brought everyone together. Older people left genuinely happy, reminded of songs from their childhood. Teenagers, who we half-expected to hang back or drift outside, threw themselves in completely. They joined in, learned new dances as they were being shown, and then freestyled alongside everyone else. It became a joyful, intergenerational celebration. Mozzle Brocha handled all their own set-up, advised clearly on timings, and led the event with confidence and ease. Everything ran smoothly, with no issues at all. Our only regret was that the venue had a strict time limit because another event followed. Otherwise, we would have been calling for encores. The music was just that good. We had so many compliments afterwards, and they truly made our day. We cannot wait for another family occasion as an excuse to book them again. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed it, and you would not regret booking them."

"We hired Nicola & Gary at very short notice for a surprise 80th garden party Nicola came and blew us away with her talent .. her voice is beautiful. I would highly recommend Nicola not only does she have a beautiful voice but a genuinely lovely person thank you again ❤️ Had the pleasure again this weekend to have Nicola and also Gary singing at my grans 80th celebrations at Peebles Hydro second to none the both of them look forward to our next celebration to have yous back 🥂❤️"

"We recruited Laura to play for my sisters wedding. From the first communication she was really friendly and quick to respond to messages. Nothing was too much for Laura in terms of our requests (my sister had some specific pieces she wanted Laura to learn for the wedding). Laura was keen to please and sorced the pieces we’d requested and also suggested other repertoire she could perform. The tone of the repertoire was perfect! It was just the atmosphere we wanted for the wedding! Laura arrived early in preparation for the wedding, she was dressed professionally and looked just the part. She was warm and friendly when chatting to us and guests on the day. I cannot recommend Laura enough! Thank you!"

"Caroline is an excellent and accomplished musician who never fails to entrance with her playing, and any concerts where she is included are not to be missed. The recent Coffee Concert we attended was an inspiration, and it was lovely to be close enough to appreciate the wonderful use of her instrument. She is so talented and her violin 'sings' for us. We enjoy her solo work and also her playing where she interacts with other musicians. Concert 2nd February 2018"

"Gary performed on Tuesday at my Nan's funeral service, and was absolutely fantastic! Everyone who came along said that he made the day, not only with his great music but also with his infectious smile. When searching for performers, Caribbean Steel Band's prices were the lowest by far (and I mean hundreds!!) and from the beginning Gary was calm and uncomplicated when making arrangements for the day... just what I needed at this difficult time for my family. I can not recommend highly enough. Thank you so much."

"These ladies proved perfect for our 1940's themed cruises, entertaining our passengers with a great range of wartime and big band standards, with frequent changes of costumes and great audience interaction. A delightful trio of ladies who were more than happy to change set lists and performance times throughout the day according to the needs of the ship. Their day with us ended in passengers dancing and joining in a full throated sing- a - long to much acclaim. One of the most entertaining and versatile groups I have used in 40 years of running cruises, we have received strong positive feedback from our passengers, and will be booking Angie and her trio again in 2025 for another 40s themed cruises. "Lynette and the Quartet were simply superb at our recent (May 21) Wedding. They could not have been more accommodating when we kept changing the details and our requirements due to Covid, and the music and ambiance they created was just sublime. "I attended Allan and David's Christmas gig in 2017, and it was just incredible. Such an energetic and soulful duo. Allan can really hold a note and David was brilliant on the keyboard. I was very entertained with their unique rendition of carols and can't wait to see them perform again. "
