"I recently booked House of Chords to play a gig at my wedding reception party at relatively short notice. The party was held on a Thames river boat cruise in London. I liaised directly with Mike from the outset, and was pleasantly greeted by an exceptionally professional service. Attentive to every detail, Mike addressed all of my concerns promptly ensuring total peace of mind. On the evening of the gig, House of Chords were ready and eager to please when all our guests arrived and delivered the goods musically. They are exceptionally talented musicians with a great, friendly demeanour. The evening was enjoyed immensely by everyone and I would have no reservations whatsoever in recommending House of Chords to anyone to play any gig large or small with minimum of fuss and maximum impact!"

"We have lots of bands play at our pub but nobody has a set as varied and interesting as Mostly Harmless. They never let the pace drop with hardly a pause for breath in-between songs. Continued playing after their official finishing time as nobody wanted them to stop. Definitely value for money and highly recommended."

"Great set for the Sunday afternoon session at the 2025 East Anglian Beer & Cider Festival. Great sound and some real 'bangers' to keep the crowd entertained. Perfect end to a lovely Sunday session."

"Wow! Not sure I can even sum up the amazing entertainment provided by this band! They completely blew our expectations out of the water and to top it off, they are really nice guys! We will be certainly using them again, what an amazing addition to our annual dinner, the party was started and the dance floor was full. My only hand up, i wished we had booked them for soooo much longer! Thank you so much! "

"Thank you [and the band] so much for making our Family Party such a success on Saturday night. Everyone was thrilled with the swing music - and to have such a range of instruments and two fantastic singers was the tops. [I have to say the clarinet really adds to the bands sound - it is terrific]. I mentioned to a few people that we had wondered if more 'pop' music with a DJ and recorded music would have been preferred at the party. The unanimous answer was that nothing beats live music and your style of swing music was irresistible at getting everyone [from 4 to 84] dancing. Your band really made our party the success it was - very many thanks. With all good wishes"

"Just wanted to let you know that the band were all amazing on the night - we had such a great time and all our guests commented on how impressive the band were - the dance floor was busy all evening. Please would you pass on my thanks as I didn't get a chance to thank them all individually before they left and I really want them to know that they made it all perfect, especially giving up the keyboard for the first song as well! "Absolutely Fab song choice, singing and dance movement! Such lovely, friendly ladies too. Extremely amenable, Allow own choice of songs if you choose. All our guests loved them. Lots of people dancing the night away. Would definitely re book and encourage anyone else to book them! "
