"My husband and I were delighted with Blue Jewel who recently played at our wedding reception. Kip was quick to reply to all communications, relaxed at the event (we were running 15 mins behind), and was fantastic at making guests feel involved by learning names and getting the children to do a demonstration. He also followed my request to have a last dance to say goodbye to our guests. It was just what we wanted. Thank you Kip and Co! "

"God gave you voices and boy.... do you know how to use them! You set the mood just wonderfully. Everyone was breaking down with tears of joy. yet at the same time it lightened the mood and made the ceremony a little more fun. thank you all so so so much. you made it the best day ever and one nobody will ever forget. xxx"

"Thank you so much for playing at our wedding at New Place. We had the four piece band, and their performance was faultless. Everyone was up and dancing to all the songs and it certainly was one of the highlights of the day. Ben was easy to communicate with and always responded quickly. I’d very much highly recommend. "We decided on a ceilidh for our wedding reception; we thought it would give our day a great "party" feel. My husband is also Dutch and we wanted something that would suit everyone regardless of age, background and language. We definitely hit the jackpot with Blue Jewel - they did a fantastic ceilidh and the atmosphere was brilliant. We even had grandparents joining in the dancing! The instructions were clear and perfect for all language levels, and Blue Jewel was very flexible (we were running a little late) and had even looked up a Dutch song/dance especially for our wedding! We really enjoyed it and have had nothing but compliments about the band, music, and what a great idea the ceilidh was. I would definitely recommend!"

"Dear Jessica, I am emailing you to say thank you, on behalf of all our residents at Morden College, for the wonderful performances you have given for them during the last 12 months. This has been a trying 14 months, to say the least; our residents in particular have struggled with the realities of a constrained life, without the levels of contact with family and friends that they would normally expect. Bringing something into their lives that takes their mind off thoughts of isolation and loneliness has been essential; you Jessica have helped hugely, perhaps even more than you realise. Your fabulous voice, and your repertoire on each occasion brings great joy, and hope to so many. Not just residents either, staff have loved to hear you sing. I absolutely love your voice; what a pleasure to listen to!...GG you are an amazing singer! lyrically your words sung are deeply reconciliatory emanating, dancing on air, for the audience listening; so creates a space for dialogue in the heart and opportunities from across the urban landscape of mind and body to rhythmically duet and quite simply talk; and even more importantly, listen to each other and at times come to understand any previously opposing and challenging perspectives bubbling in life; married with a respectful consideration of the legacies of the past....grounded in an unswerving determination to serve the cause of peace, blended with a strong ethical belief in, and commitment to, the core value of respect for the different and shared events in time and space. GG your voice instrumental is immersive, immense and empowering to the listener; becomes internalised, so reprises hope and consideration of forgiveness, evolutionarily to the circumstances of our time. GG it’s clear to me you are a keen observer of human nature; reflected lyrically are pearls philosophical emergent from the exterior societal laced at times stories encased darkened shell, though at times a necessary struggle all the same springs forth from your voice going to the very heart of what matters assonance, this serves to fabricate a renewed alignment and balance in the minds and hearts of those whom are most fortunate, actually privileged to listen to your song. "My Girl Friday were fantastic at our wedding. The vocals and band were incredible and exactly what we wanted. They performed our first dance song live and rearranged the track so that it fit the occasion without any problems. It was better than I could have ever hoped for. All of our guests commented on how good they were and I would definitely book them again in the future for any events and recommend them to others. Thank you so much for making our evening reception so amazing :) I couldn’t tear myself off the dance floor!!"

"Solid Gold were the band I chose for my 70th birthday party. They responded immediately to my initial requests and communication was excellent throughout the process. In the day they arrived early despite quite a long journey to get to our corner of Kent, and began setting up immediately. They are a talented and amiable bunch of excellent professional musicians who provided us with two brilliant one hour sets of music we’d agreed in advance, ranging from 50’s classics through to up to date popular bangers. This is their true strength; an ability to cover any kind of music to match the occasion. I cannot recommend Solid Gold highly enough, they’re a pleasure to deal with and provided a superb musical backdrop to my special evening. Thanks again guys!"
