Review Centre: Wedding Bands

"Unwritten Duo performed at our wedding at The Granary Wedding Barn in March, she showed up smartly dressed and on time. She was booked to sing our first dance song and perform for 45 mintutes afterwards before the DJ took over. She sang Loving You by Minnie Riperton while we shared our first dance and it sounded absolutely incredible. She has such a stunning voice, so much better than we expected. We were all mesmerised by her throughout and thoroughly enjoyed her set. I wasn't sure what songs to pick but she chose a nice variety of tracks which everyone enjoyed. She sang for over an hour because we enjoyed it so much but she didn't mind at all and didn't try to charge any extra. Several friends of mine have booked her for their upcoming weddings/parties too. I highly recommend Joanne, she is Superb artist!"

"Motown Memories were better than we could ever have imagined. They got everyone on the dance floor, dancing until our feet were hurting, all guests commented on how amazing the band were. Their song choices were perfect, Ione has a phenomenal voice and got the crowd going throughout. Thank you so so much for being part of our special day."

"The Line Up were just incredible at our wedding in September 2021. They sounded amazing, had everyone dancing, with loads of charisma and energy all night. They were also super friendly and professional. Our first dance song was especially perfect - we were worried as we love the vocals on the original, but they made it sound so good that i preferred their version! One of our wedding guests has even booked them for their summer wedding in 2022!! Can’t say more than that! Thank you The Line Up for rounding off our wedding in style."

"Coco 'n' The Fellas were exceptional, great to work with, a delight to listen to, and professional in their approach. We booked Coco 'n' The Fellas to be our live music at a special lunch time meal. They tailored their delivery to match our event perfectly, providing a delightful musical accompaniment to our meal that was very well received. Musically they were excellent, with an uplifting approach that set the tone for the event. We will definitely be using them again, but hopefully as our main feature. Highly recommended."

"We hired the band for our wedding in The Dales . What can I say? They are superb musicians and all round great fellas. They really added something special to our evening entertainment and all our guests young and old loved it. I cannot recommend them highly enough. "Now what can I say about the Band, Solid Gold. The event was my Masonic Lodge Ladies evening, of which I have the great honour of being master in its centenary year. As a result I wanted the evening to be the best possible, I was not disappointed. Paul and the band arrived mid afternoon for the event even though they were not due on stage until 9pm. Communication between us prior to the event was excellent, very professional and informative, then we get to the evening itself. WOW!!! What a night, over the years I have booked acts for many organisations and I have got to say Solid Gold stand out as the best by a country mile. Every single person had a fabulous evening and that was down to Solid Gold. During our pre event discussion Paul ask for details of the event, what kind of audience it would be and what kind of music I would like them to perform. As a result the band put together a playlist that was absolutely perfect, unbelievably now knowing that I am a big fan of The Who they set about learning a couple of Who songs,which they had never done before, perfect!!!! If anyone is looking for a band that are musically excellent, reliable and know just how to entertain an audience, Solid Gold have got to be their number one option, I cannot praise them enough. Thank you so much"
