Hi Dean, thank you very much for the invite to play at the Melton Mowbray Town Estates Christmas Concert. We really enjoyed ourselves and it was great to have professional staging engineers. A really great crowd who stood and watched us through the pouring rain!

"We were really pleased that we had booked the Black Velvet band for a ceilidh at our daughter’s wedding at Old Down Manor. Before the event they spoke to our daughter and planned with her exactly what she would like from them, the type of music and how they would organise the evening so that she and her new husband could be ‘danced out’ at the end. On the day the band arrived in good time with all the appropriate equipment for the location. The performance was very professional, the music great and they got all the guests dancing along. The caller’s instructions were clear. So overall we were very happy and would definitely recommend them."

From the start when we first made contact, you made it easy to communicate with and the information you asked for certainly helped to make your part in the day seamless and smooth. You were punctual and professional. We hardly noticed you slip in and out of the room during your break times and at the end of the function. Our guests enjoyed your performance and were full of praise and positive comments about how much they loved the pieces you played. You certainly added some class and sophistication to our function. "This is the second time we have used this DJ and we have booked him for a further date already. I would recommend him to everyone in this area as he is brilliant. All of the music we asked for was played, the neon glow element was brilliant and everyone had a great time. The DJ even managed to source Spanish and French hits for our group of international students. Thank you so much"

"Four absolutely sound blokes who we had a laugh with and who put us at ease straight away. We asked them to have an absolute blast with the evening and that in turn kept our dance floor packed with something for everyone throughout the evening. Every guest that we have spoken to have mentioned the band and have said how fantastic they were. We were really pleased with their performance and have no doubt that we made the right choice for our wedding. I would 100% recommend TIDE to anyone looking for a quality band who are versatile and talented enough to put their own twists on well known current and also classic songs. Thank you guys, we hope to see you again when we can both sit back (and maybe dance) and enjoy your performance a bit more! "
