"We just wanted to say a big thank you for playing at our wedding…You were great and lots of people have said how much they enjoyed the ceilidh, including us! It was brilliant to see the dance floor full all night, and it looked like everyone was having lots of fun, which is just what we had hoped for! We will certainly recommend Blackbeard’s Tea Party to anybody looking for a ceilidh band, and hope to see you again!"

"Vicki played for us on Sunday 30th July, at a small lunch reception after a family wedding. She set up and was playing as guests arrived, with no fuss at all. Her music was amazing, just the right mood for the drinks and buffet, current and unplugged versions of all the well known pop songs. After eats, her last set got livelier totally in tune with the mood, and she really kept up brilliantly with the vibe. We would recommend her 100% and use her talents again, Well Done Vicki and thank you Linz & Nick Blewitt"

"Hi guys, Just had to say thank you once again for your show on Saturday night you were so good and you made the party so much better than anything we had hoped for. All the guests loved you and they haven’t stopped telling us how good you were!! Have supplied a well earned review for you; Having booked 106 Miles to Chicago for my wife's 50th birthday party we were looking forward to them getting our party going! They were so professional from their arrival and set up and when they started the party really got going. They were absolutely fantastic and they gave 100% and everyone loved them!! "We were lucky enough to have Blue Jewel play for the ceilidh at our wedding reception in Devon in October. Throughout all of our dealings with Steve, he was professional, responsive and friendly which helped to relieve some of the stress of planning the day! On the night the band were fantastic and were able to coax up loads of people to take part, many of whom had never been to a ceilidh in their life. Everyone had a great time; we particularly enjoyed the special wedding dance where everyone danced around us in a circle – people are still mentioning it to us! Thanks so much for everything, you helped make our day."

"Mads was phenomenal!! Honestly I'm so so happy I got her to come to perform for my mums hen party! Everyone was up singing and dancing in the beautiful sunshine! She played all the best songs from 90s club classics to today's top hits! I would highly recommend, she is so lovely and just amazing at what she does! Thank you again! "

"Harvey was absolutely brilliant right from the initial consult. He took his time to understand everything we were after and never rushed us. He was very professional throughout the event and was definitely a highlight for the evening reception! We can’t thank him enough for all his hard work and making the wedding a success! "I would like to thank the lovely Sandy Smith for a fabulous weekend, coming to York to sing at my birthday party, what an amazing voice and talent she has. Everyone is still talking about how lovely your voice is and what a lovely evening it was. I would truly recommend sandy for any occasion, she lightens up any room with her personality then when she starts to sing well that’s another story, the room becomes silent, foot tapping, hand clapping and people up dancing. Making memories is what it’s all about having family and friends to celebrate with you and it makes it extra social when you have a Sandy in your life to sing like she does. Hope to see you soon xx"

"Sophia was absolutely amazing at our wedding! I love saxophone music and also wanted some dance/club songs at our wedding and Sophia Sax really delivered! Everyone has said how it added so much to the evening and how fantastic she was! Our timings for the day were a little later and Sophia showed up early and waited for us to perform. Could not have asked for any more, would 100% recommend. Thanks for the great memory!! "
