"I was a bit apprehensive as I had not seen them play live before but I needn’t have worried as they were brilliant and the range of songs they played suited everyone from the young to the old. It was a fantastic night and having the band play made it that extra bit special! I would not hesitate in recommending House of Chords for an event."

"The Bandits were brilliant and sounded awesome; even when playing to a small crowd, you guys had so much energy. You really made the night special for us - we had so many comments about you from the other guests on how much they enjoyed listening to you and several people asking for info. "Seen The Boys tonight in the Cavern Pub on Matthews St Liverpool. Fantastic show from two born entertainers, the playlist was spot on & the personality of the two boys really brought the crowd with them. Very impressed, hard to believe two boys can produce that sound, over from Ireland for the weekend, thanks again for a superb show "

"Absolutely incredible band! We booked Straight Up for our Wedding. They were really friendly. Very professional. They sounded unbelievably good! All our guested mentioned how good they sounded and the energy they brought. The lead singer has an amazing voice. The lead guitarist puts chills up your spine. They made the night. Cannot overstate how happy we were. Highly recommend! "

"I would just like to thank you for making my 50th birthday such a special night! As you could probably tell it was a total surprise – how Helen managed to keep that a secret I’ll never know. You guys made the evening exceptional playing all my favourite tunes and also allowing me to assist with vocals – sorry about that! You were a great set of lads, very polite and nothing was too much trouble for you. Everyone who came to the party had a fab time and many commented on how good the band were. It’s hard to cater for everyone’s taste in music but you got it spot on playing all Helen asked for and many more, you kept everyone entertained – as you could see by the amount of people on the dance floor! Once again thank you for making my 50th birthday such a special night that I will remember for a very long time. Thanks for everything guys, you were fantastic!"
