"I recently booked House of Chords to play a gig at my wedding reception party at relatively short notice. The party was held on a Thames river boat cruise in London. I liaised directly with Mike from the outset, and was pleasantly greeted by an exceptionally professional service. Attentive to every detail, Mike addressed all of my concerns promptly ensuring total peace of mind. On the evening of the gig, House of Chords were ready and eager to please when all our guests arrived and delivered the goods musically. They are exceptionally talented musicians with a great, friendly demeanour. The evening was enjoyed immensely by everyone and I would have no reservations whatsoever in recommending House of Chords to anyone to play any gig large or small with minimum of fuss and maximum impact!"

"We hired The Blue Suede Shoes for our wedding reception in May. We had already married abroad but wanted to have a larger gathering back in the UK where we could invite everyone. On the day we had about 150 people, from new-born's to a couple of ladies who were 90+. So the entertainment was quite important to get right. We didn't know what we were looking for at first, we knew we wanted live music, but we had to cater for all tastes and ages. The Blue Suede Shoes were the first band that both my (new) wife and I agreed on instantly. Thankfully they were available, even though they are Surrey based they were willing to travel deep into Kent. They have a generous play list to choose from, and even have a 'handbook' on their website with a few hints and tips about booking live music (not just restricted to weddings etc...). Importantly, they were willing to learn a couple of other tracks for us - one was our first dance and another was a Robbie Williams track which is one of my wife's favourites. From the start of the booking process Ben was very informative, clear and helpful at every stage. He was easily contacted and able to offer advice where needed. On the day of the reception the band turned up early and started to set-up without any fuss. We had a family friend DJ-ing in the same area in the evening and by the time I'd come over to greet them they'd already sorted everything out themselves. Our reception was in a marquee outside and the weather alternated between strong sunshine and torrential rain. Even though the band had a set-list, they seemed to be able to play appropriate songs for the moment. Playing 'Ain't no sunshine when she's gone' in the middle of torrential rain made everyone laugh and kept peoples spirits up. The band were also happy to ad-lib a bit for the bridal entrance which was very much appreciated. They were great musicians, willing to interact with the guests and very friendly indeed. We would recommend them without question, not just for a wedding but for any party or gathering that needed live music. They were loud enough to be heard, but not so loud that you had to shout over them. The music was perfect to sit and listen to, but energetic enough for many people to get up and dance or it and tap their feet to. Thanks for helping to make or reception so memorable. Matt & Kim"

"We absolutely loved Stargazers. We booked the acoustic duo for the afternoon drinks reception at our wedding and then the rest of the band for the evening. They were fantastic and the dance floor was full all night. We have had lots of positive feedback from our guests with lots of people asking where we found them. Thank you so much for making our first dance and wedding so special. We would definitely recommend Stargazers and book again!"

"Ivan is a really nice Guy and a great drummer. I have known Ivan since he was a young boy and know his skills well and would recommend him and his band the Runaways in a heartbeat they are reliable friendly and get the crowd going a must for your party or venue. July 9, 2013, Andy studied with Ivan at Swanley Comprehensive, Andy became a DJ. "

"I hired Nick through last minute musicians as a Duo and they were great! Nic was able to play lots that got everyone dancing and joining in, he took requests and even did an impromptu duet with myself after a request from another guest. They played songs I had requested before the party brilliantly and gave the perfect country western vibe to our hoe down. He was so polite and respectful all evening and a genuinely lovely person. Last minute musicians were great with finding him as I was very particular about what I wanted for the party, they sent lots of options and searched high and low till I was happy with my choice to go with Nick. Thank you all"

"The Rampart Street Ramblers played a wonderful mix of music at our wedding as guests arrived, mingled and drank at our wedding reception. The weather was not as dry as we'd hoped, so the band moved around to various places around the venue to entertain different groups. Beforehand, Dai called me and was very happy to cater to our specific tastes and needs. So many of our guests told us they were great, and at least one couple have asked for their details for their wedding too. My only disappointment was I didn't get to hear them much as I was being dragged off in all directions. "

"House of Chords played for our wedding on Friday (15/06/18), and we would recommend them so highly! They learnt our first dance (Paramore – Still Into You), and it was such a good cover! All our guests had a really good time and they had everybody up on the dance floor whenever they were playing. They handled our requests brilliantly and planned their sets in the perfect order over the evening, and are really nice guys in general. While we were planning our wedding, they were really responsive and were always happy to talk through our plans for the day. We felt completely at ease and were happy to leave the nights entertainment in their hands. Thanks so much!"
