"The Catfish Kings were superb! Great musicians. The vocalist and band leader, Harry, sings over a tremendous rhythm section comprising saxophone, bass, drums, keyboard and guitar. Every song played delivered a great authentic sound. Every song invited you to dance. And we did! The band were friendly and showed great professionalism from start to finish.They entered into the spirit of the occasion and were a key factor in the success of the evening. So many of our friends and family, of all ages, were very complimentary about this band. Thanks to Harry and the band for a great night."

I booked them for a very private valentine's meal, and they understood what was needed and were professional and courteous the whole time, while providing an amazing sound and relaxed atmosphere. "Helly and Andy are simply brilliant, one of the highlights of our wedding, every guest said how much they loved them. We both love music and having them play a couple of chilled afternoon sets was perfect, even if we did hog the requests a little, which was not an issue for them :-) Looking for an accommodating, friendly, chilled out but professional band with a great sound? You just found them!"

"For our reception we sought a fun and lively band to kick off the evening. We feel very lucky to have stumbled across House of Chords online. They were great value for money and delivered a 2 hour set of upbeat songs to keep people up and dancing. They were so great they even managed to command an encore! They showed great flexibility to accommodate a delay and they even learnt and performed Dancing In The Moonlight beautifully for our first dance! The band played a key part in our special day and we would very highly recommend."

"Absolutely amazing! From booking the communication was really prompt, helpful and professional from Jimmy. On the night....OMG!! they really delivered. We all had the most fabulous evening. So many wedding guests just kept saying 'aren't the band amazing' If you have a wedding or event coming up and you want everyone to be on the dance floor having the best time book Eccentric Pony and you'll get it. "The Covered recently played at mine and my wife’s wedding. They were a hit (to say the least) and I had numerous guests coming up to me to praise the eclectic mix of songs. The music was excellent but I was also really impressed with the professionalism and flexibility of the band too. We were slightly running behind schedule as dinner was taking longer to serve. However, the guys were extremely patient and considerate to this. We really appreciated this. They even let my father in law play along with them too which was a lovely touch. Amazing performance, band and people. Thank you for making our day/evening. Jonny and Sammie x"
