Review Centre: Duos / Small Groups

"Big Skies played at our annual golf trip to Ullesthorpe. Everyone present were very impressed with their performance. They began with more laid back , country songs whilst the guests were finishing off food etc. Fantastic musicianship, talented guitar playing and exceptional harmonies. I had chosen one or two songs which were a little less known by most people present , namely “Battle of Evermore”, and Dylan’s “Oh Sister”, and their renditions were captivating. Later in the evening the tempo was raised and it was great to see so many on the dance floor. Overall, a fantastic evening had by all thanks to Big Skies! I would strongly recommend them if you were thinking of hiring an acoustic band for a special event. "

"Absolutely superb. Technically extremely gifted and all our guests loved them. They were also very sensitive as to how to pitch their sets in regards to volume and set list. This was a wake but the guys made it feel like a wedding. Awesome. Would like to see them at Ronnie Scotts or under different circumstances where I could actually watch them."

"Abi and the girls were all fantastic, the music was beautiful and very professional, every body enjoyed this quartet, and they looked great, can't thank you all enough. Our walk down the aisle was very moving to the back drop of Pachelbel canon in D not a dry eye from the bridal party. We really can recommend the CG Strings to anybody they also played through the wedding breakfast which everyone commented that it was lovely and the girls kept the volume just right and not overly loud but enough to provide a beautiful background for the meal. Thank you all again and wishing the CG all the best for the future, Our fondest regards, Brian & Deborah."

"We have had the duo a couple of times now at our venue. on all occasions they have been punctual and professional in their set up and approach. We are quite a large venue and they always take extra care and attention during sound checks to ensure the best possible experience. The guys have been extremely well received playing well known tracks in a stripped back manner. We have gone onto book a number of future dates due to customer demand. Highly recommend."

"Beci and Liam were absolutely amazing from the planning stages through the performance at our wedding. They were communicative, flexible, accommodating, insanely talented, and such warm, lovely people. Music is very important to us as a couple, and they were able to accommodate our unique song requests and requested arrangements. They truly made our wedding ceremony the most beautiful, memorable, meaningful moment, one which we will cherish forever. We could not recommend them more highly and are so grateful for their beautiful work which made our wedding the most special day ever. It was a privilege to have them there with us."

"Joanne sang at our wedding and was absolutely brilliant. A few guests commented how amazing she was and didn’t even realise at first we had a live singer, they thought she was a record playing which is testament to just how incredible her vocals are. She made our evening perfect. Couldn’t recommend enough ?"

"Unquestionably, one of the best live bands I have seen. The Acoustic Experiment played at a charity event last night and was thoroughly enjoyed by all. The enthusiasm, ambience and charisma from Al and Oli flowed throughout the evening, performing a range of cover songs from the 60s to present. I would highly recommend The Acoustic experiment for future weddings and events. "

"I booked Goldsworth Gerry for my birthday party on 22nd October. I couldn't have made a better choice. All communication before hand was clear and helpful, with a wide choice available for my play list. They arrived on time to set up and were excellent throughout the evening. They can play a very wide range of music and sing pretty much everything convincingly. My guests were impressed as was I."

"Well what can we say! Whiskey & Ginger were absolutely fantastic arrived on time with equipment set up ready for the evening. They sang lots of different songs from old to new keeping the ears of our guests entertained ready for more. was absolutely amazing such a talented band would love to have thwmat another event. The only down side was that the evening seemed to go to fast but as the saying goes time flys when your having fun. Would so love to see them again in the future absolutely fantastic performance what an amazing band."
