"I couldn’t recommend Kirsty enough for an event or wedding. She was amazing from start to finish, had great communication and totally got the kind of vibe we wanted for our wedding. She arrived on the day and set up super smoothly. She knew exactly what to play and when and from the first dance the dance floor was a hit. She was great fun behind the DJ booth as well. Music was such an important part of the day for me and Kirsty absolutely delivered and more! I was 5 months pregnant at my wedding and I think I danced more than anyone else – the music was that good."

"We had a joint 50th & 80th birthday party. Black Velvet were fantastic. Great musicians and made the Barn dance run smoothly. We had ages from 5 to 80 and they tailored everything perfectly. Made it a birthday to remember."

"The Northern Reel Collective played at our wedding in August 2018 and were absolutely exceptional. I had so many people say to me on the night and afterwards how brilliant they were. We requested to start with everyone together, rather than a traditional first dance, and they made it work perfectly. The caller was fantastic and so engaged with the audience - even getting off stage to demonstrate. It was 32 degrees during the day but people still wanted to keep dancing - at other ceilidhs I've been to guests have given up and not danced much. We provided a playlist for after and they put it together so everything flowed nicely and honestly we just had the best time! I highly highly recommend them (and have literally been telling newly engaged strangers to look them up!)"

"The Blaggers were absolutely brilliant and exactly what we were after. This was a big corporate party for a young audience and they were fun and a modern take on a ceilidh band. I highly recommend them for any event as they would be great regardless of audience."

"Blue Jewel were a delight to have at our wedding, that I would recommend to everyone. Kip was excellent at his organisation and the whole thing was hassle free. We wanted a ceilidh to get everyone dancing together and the sets by Blue Jewel were perfect, with a range of different dances, tunes beautifully played with moves called, and lots of enthusiasm. It was a delight and everyone loved it! Thank you so much! "

"Hi Eugene From start to finish the band was absolutely amazing so professional and well presented! They made light of what was a sad day and made my uncles funeral one to remember! Mick became the talk of Middleton and so many people after the funeral commented on the band! We were so impressed and would recommend your services to anyone and everyone! We are forever grateful for the band attending his funeral and giving him the send off he deserved! Thank you so much his funeral will never be forgotten! "We booked these guys for our wedding at Tunnels Beaches in Ilfracombe in October 2021. Booking them was so easy and they were great to work with and always accommodating, even after our first wedding date had to be postponed because of Covid. Their repertoire is extensive and yet despite this they were prepared to learn some new songs for our wedding if needed. They arrived on time and set up without any fuss or drama - all thoroughly professional......then they started playing!!! Wow! Now I play in a semi-pro band and like to think we are pretty decent, but these guys were just on a different level. Great song choices, fantastic musicianship, great energy and rapport with the crowd - they were amazing. That view is shared by all the guests who attended. "Would fully recommend Murray. Great singer and real nice guy as well. He made my wife's birthday party very special. Good interactions with the audience but not in an overbearing or embarrassing anyone way. Amazing as well that he travelled the width of the country to entertain us."
