"Hi guys. Just wanted to thank you all for another absolutely fantastic evening of the most amazing music. You totally rocked the 1865 on Saturday and can never wait until you’re back down there again. You asked about songs you don’t currently cover to learn for next time. "I booked the band to play at my husband's surprise 40th birthday party in London. From initial contact to finishing the gig the guys were fantastic. Great communication, very flexible, reliable, incredible musicians and wonderful sense of humour. They were well up for have a go at a song they'd never done before and it turned out to be the song of the night! Thanks so much guys, I'd recommend you in a heartbeat!"

"When you start planning your wedding, there are lots of factors that you need to take into account, however for me, the music was everything. I called The Covered Band, and spoke to John. From the moment we started talking about my ideas, i immediately felt at ease. We wanted a Country and Western wedding, and this may not be an easy request for some bands, For John, he seemed even more excited than me, that's when i realised, i needed this band, to perform on our day. The enthusiasm and professionalism all the band provided,was the highlight of the day, not to mention the encouragement before hand. I had requested a few of our favourite songs, even the request to use my father's guitar for some songs, as these were really important for us. John always replied, sure, and i honestly couldn't of been happier to know that he was onboard, and was prepared to make sure our wedding would be remembered in years to come. Imagine, being on the dance floor, with all your friends and family, smiles on everyone's faces, whilst dancing like their having the time of their lives. I stood back, for a slight second, to admire that moment. It was truly spectacular!! If you are considering having a band, for your wedding, this is most definitely, the band you need to book. I just wish I could do it all over again and couldn't recommend them highly enough."

"We have barely stopped smiling since Saturday night (or the early hours of Sunday morning)! We had a brilliant time, Angus and his friends had a brilliant time, and reports from our friends and family have also said that it was a memorable evening, for all the right reasons. So thank you to you and the band for your part in ensuring the evening was fabulous and kept everyone entertained right up to the last dance. Well done! That arrangement of Mission Impossible was rather apt at the hour you played it! I loved the mix of traditional and modern."

"Would 100% recommend the Highball Heavies for any occasion. We hired them for my birthday party and they were fantastic ! Definitely got the party in full swing. Great choice of songs to choose from and sounded absolutely amazing, can’t thank them enough!"
