"A sparkling performance for the whole set. They played what we asked for, brought the whole selection to life, kept people dancing non-stop and are great individual performers in their own right. Also, they are a great bunch of blokes who were easy-going when the timing changed a bit and were very happy to fit in with us. I could not think of any way they could be better. "

I'm very impressed you could cater for our 3 year old through to my 93 yr old gran!! She is usually in bed most of the day so was awesome to see her up and dancing "

"We wanted to get in touch to officially thank you for helping to make our big day even more special. Alice and I spent many evenings sitting at home ploughing through online video clips of bands and were so pleased we found Stargazers. The band lived up to our expectations and made our day even more special. Thank you to both you and Andy for playing the acoustic set while the photos were being taken. While we didn’t get to hear much of this, our guests were extremely complimentary and your music was enjoyed by everyone. Thank you for bearing with us in the evening. Alice and I had an absolutely brilliant evening and really enjoyed dancing the night away. Stargazers was everything we wanted and much, much more! You were so kind with the bridesmaids and my nephew who joined in the Bandeoke. They felt so special and thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Our guests loved every minute of it! You played a fantastic mix of songs which got everyone up and dancing for the whole evening. We have never danced so much but thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! "

"Craig flew to Jersey to perform at our wedding and was an outstanding hit. He was absolutely fantastic and got everyone on the dance floor. His voice, moves and mannerisms were perfect Elvis. And to top it all off - a really lovely guy. Thank you - you made our day x"

"We were looking for a band with a repertoire of jump jive and swing music for our wedding reception and found One Jump Ahead. The band did such a great job, they had such great energy, and our guests loved dancing to their music. There was good variety of songs so that our non-swing dancing guests could show of their moves too! We loved the first dance and really appreciate the band learning the song for us, we hope they will continue to play it in their future gigs. We had very good communication with Kit in the run up to the wedding and the band were able to set up by themselves which made things run smoothly for us, and were very flexible and relaxed on the night. We'll be recommending you to our family and friends for future events!"

Thanks Sherri! It was a really great reception, made all the better by the lovely sunny weather we had. It was excellent that many of your guests were swing dancers - we always like to play for them! (It's still a pleasure playing for other dancers, too, of course - or even those who prefer just to listen!) We enjoyed learning your request and will be very likely include it in our sets at future wedding receptions. "In the lead up to our wedding they were always very professional to deal with, responding quickly to any questions we had and happy to adapt set lists and timings to exactly what we wanted. We had them for our evening wedding reception and they were fantastic! On the night they were absolutely brilliant and had our guests on their feet from their first song right up to the end. All our guests (even our older guests) have all complimented the band, the mix of songs they played was perfect. People were asking me how much they were and all agreed they were cheap for how good they are, and so much better than your typical wedding band. We were running a bit over time so they cut their break down to 15 minutes for us so we didn't miss out on any of their set list. They dressed smartly for the occasion and Louise and Sam were so helpful and friendly throughout the whole process. I honestly couldn't recommend then enough! I'm just trying to find another occasion that I can have an excuse to use them! We have had lots of comments from guests about how good the band were and what a good range of tracks they played. We would definitely recommend them."

"This is probably the most belated thank you in history and you probably barely remember the event now, but I just wanted to say a huge thank you on behalf of Jane and myself for providing the incredible entertainment for our wedding back in August at the Dome. Everyone said how great the music was and how professional and tight you guys were and it really made the night for us. We'll encourage anyone we know getting married to book you, because we can't imagine there could be a better choice of band."

"Thanks so much for playing our big night! We’ve gotten so many compliments on how awesome it was to have incredible live music. On another notes, had I mentioned that “Let’s Dance” is a rather significant song for both Jacqueline and me or was that pure coincidence that you guys decided to open with that? Either way, both sets were incredible. Please pass my praise onto all of your band members!"
