"House of Chords are second to none. They played exactly what was needed and the dance floor was never empty. Hugely popular and very professional; I would have no hesitation in recommending them to others who want their party to be memorable. People have not stopped talking about them since they played for us and I’ve already been asked when they can come again. The boys are the talk of the Regiment! Terrific value for money. In a word – Brilliant."

"We engaged House of Chords for our 50th Wedding Anniversary Party, and our expectations were exceeded. The whole professional, user-friendly process went smoothly from start to finish, starting with a playlist established beforehand by email/phone. The band have an impressive set of equipment, including a great lighting rig, and arrived promptly on schedule to set up and do sound checks. They produced a tight sound, with good harmony vocals, at just the right volume levels to suit the venue, – all obviously born from the many occasions they have played together. Their youthful enthusiasm was infectious, and much appreciated by us oldies."

"Wow, just wow!! We had Starbound as our wedding band for the evening. The band were simply amazing. We had an amazing evening and would like to say thank you so much to you and the Lightning Bolts for a great end to our wedding day. They were so polite and raised the roof off. Many guests were surprised and thoroughly enjoyed rocking out in the evening. We have had so many compliments so wanted to pass them on to you and the band. "

"We booked House of Chords for our wedding reception. We were really impressed by how well they played; it was an amazing atmosphere and they chose exactly the right songs to get everyone in the room from children to grandparents dancing! The guys were also really flexible; they even chose our first dance for us when we still hadn’t come up with anything ten minutes before we were supposed to do it! The band really helped make our day special and I would happily recommend them to anyone."

"Only we could host a wedding in a yurt, on top of a very high hill, on an August day with a severe weather warning! High winds enforced an evacuation during the wedding breakfast, which was still underway and running late when the band arrived to set up…..They carried on regardless, with the added complication of a short power cut, and provided a fantastic evening of entertainment for our wedding guests! The dance floor was full all night and a great time was had by all…..thanks House of Chords, it was memorable!"

" What a superb band! It's was a huge privilege to have you play at our wedding, the guests loved it and there wasn't a moment that the dance floor was ever empty!! When booking the Ashdowne, we were initially drawn to the initial repertoire of indie and rock songs the band had on offer and not to mention the talent of both the guitarists, drummer and singers. The band played acoustic and full band sets which didn't disappoint. A truly talented band, who would not look out of place at a major music festival!! Professional through and through and accommodating to all our needs leading up to and during our special day. Thank you every so much for making it such a wonderful day!! "Having been set the challenge of playing completely unplugged in a wild camping venue for a 40th birthday celebration, The Blue Suede Shoes duo completely delivered. Great communication prior to the event, fantastic music, both in choice of song and standard of performance, they had the 30-40 something crowd all dancing and wanting more at the end - there were even offers of sleeping bags and breakfast! would absolutely recommend these guys for any function. "
