"If I could give Rhys 11/10 I would. His singing of Songbird was on point. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house. I would recommend Rhys without hesitation. "An amazing bunch of lads that allways give there best to every event, I have seen them countless times and I intend and seeing them more in the future. One of the best bands I've seen live! On par with my other personal favourites such as the Arctic Monkeys, Kings of Leon, The Killers and Kaiser Cheifs. The lads play every gig with huge amounts of energy which spills over into the crowd making every gig something special. This is evident with the huge following they have built up over the years."

"We hired Blackbeard's Tea Party for ceilidh at our wedding- the groom has been a fan of them for many years, so we were delighted that they offered ceilidh hires. They were the highlight of the day- everyone was so friendly and it was exactly what we wanted. They were very organised and the tunes worked very well for the ceilidh, even if people were beginners. The caller was great and got everybody involved- in fact two of our guests were so impressed they've booked him for their wedding! The band played several sets with the right amount of breaks in between and we enjoyed their performance of some of their tunes in between. Brilliant atmosphere and so much fun- would 100% recommend!"

"We booked Funk it Up! for our wedding this summer & can not tell you how blown away we were by them. They were ALL absolute stars & Funk it Up! was easily the best part of our day - they brought 100% party vibes! They were an incredibly tight band; every member was an excellent musician & having been a bit of a fusspot about music building up to the day, I could not have been more chuffed. The dance floor was always packed out & the setlist did not let up! I lost count of the number of people who said to us afterwards how brilliant Funk it Up! had been, with the singer Ginger getting top marks from everybody for her showmanship and 10/10 bringing of the party throughout the set! If you want a proper old-school 70s/80s funk and soul band for your wedding or function, without the modern cliched Bruno Mars / Uptown Funk type stuff, then Funk it Up! is the band for you! Ginger was super helpful and communicative in the lead-up - she was able to add a trumpet player to the band's lineup to fill out the sound for us on the night & even kindly offered us the use of the band's PA for an hour at the end of the night after they'd finished playing. Do yourself a favour and book Funk it Up! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them and you will NOT regret it."

"Rachael was absolutely fantastic, she wore colours that matched our colour scheme which I thought was a lovely little touch but she is so talented and we would recommend her to anybody. It was all organised very well and so had no concerns in that area. :-) we were so happy with all aspects of the service provided by yourselves and Rachael."

"Diamond Strings played at our wedding and we had so many compliments on their music, communication was very good in the lead up to the wedding and they added such a good edge to the music on the day. Not to mention they all looked fabulous in their beautiful dresses too!"
