"I wanted to say a big thank you for our wedding the other night. You guys totally rocked the place and everyone loved you! You pitched up on time, played a great set, were friendly, professional, totally knew what you were doing (not that I expected anything less) and I loved it when I caught you playing something different as a small interlude piece. It was really nice. A number of people have since complimented the ceilidh. At a wedding, the entertainment is always crucial to how much fun people have, and you guys were worth all the money!"

"I hired Modern Strings as a surprise for our wedding day and they did not disappoint. From initial consultation, through to the song choices, Sophie was hugely helpful and accommodating. We cannot thank them enough for making our day special – we had so many compliments about them from our wedding guests! "We had the most perfect wedding day and W!RED Band were a HUGE part of that. They were punctual, friendly, fun, professional and sounded amazing. They were incredibly accommodating with our requests and always replied to us quickly - they totally took the stress away from this part of the wedding planning which was absolutely amazing. The atmosphere on the dancefloor was incredible and so, so many of our friends and family told us how incredible the band were. Simply fantastic! "

"Funky Friday played for us at my 50th this January. They were simply fantastic. Vibrant and enthusiastic, professional yet fun. The guests all commented that they hadn't danced so much in years (including my 85 year old mum!). We cannot speak highly enough of them and would recommend them, particularly if you want a band that will keep everyone buzzing all night long."

"What a night! We were playing guess the song. Ewan your musical director was lovely and they all seemed to enjoy the evening. I would hire them again in a flash! The entire process was hassle free. The guests were impressed by the duet. "

"The Tzigauners played at our 2016 fundraising ball and were just fabulous. They are very talented and accomplished musicians who added more than a touch of class to our event. I certainly recommend them for adding refinement to any event and expect I will use them again myself. Being such well mannered and considerate musicians I think they are particularly well suited to corporate or formal events during arrival drinks and dinner or day time lunches as they are great at softening the mood."

"We were very pleased with their performance. I was nervous of being in charge of booking the band for an important corporate event but they were brilliant and everyone enjoyed the performance. I was very happy with the services provided by the band. I have had lots of positive feedback on their performance from our guests. We are very pleased with how our event went and would be happy to use the band again in the future."
