Review Centre: Wedding Bands

"I had seen Tom perform a few years ago at a friends party. We then I asked him to sing at my partner's 40th birthday party, he was that brilliant we then asked him to perform with this duo at our wedding on the 1st of June 24. We were lucky enough to have Bobbi-Jo (Tom's wife) performing with him and her vocal cords are out of this world! She sang our wedding song (Power of Love by Jennifer Rush) which is a tough song! What else can I say? Absolutely superb. From right at the start when we were organising, to the day. Both amazing in their own right. Absolute dream team together. "I liked the fact that when booking it was 'relaxed' in that it was not too rigid with the timing. Unfortunate that Hannah was sick but this made no difference to my party as Sarah -Jane stepped in. Again flexibility (on both sides) resulted in a great performance - we received lots of compliments only downside was that we were unable to listen as much as we would have liked to .... There's always a next time. ..... We and especially our guests thoroughly enjoyed the performance - very happy to recommend . Ann & Antonio "

"We chose southwest band because they where a brilliant array of collective music choices and we especially loved the rock music choices. They had presence and the front man was brilliant at getting everyone up on the dance floor and getting the crowd going. They were brilliant just wish we could get married again so we could have them again at our wedding but we shall have to go and see them instead. Thank you from Rachel and David Burridge x"

"Outstanding! The Flamingos performed at our charity Gin and Jazz event and were superb. A great chilled out sound, they had our customers bopping along in their seats. Would not hesitate to book them again."

"Firstly I know when booking Band etc. you do a lot of research and like every one I read other reviews on the band before I booked. and as they were all glowing reports was a bit unsure. (that's just me being paranoid) well I am glad to report back that they are Brilliant. as with other reviews whilst talking with our guests at our triple Birthday Party (16th 21st &50th) all age groups kept saying how fantastic the band were. Ed was so good at getting back to me every time I had a question. they played all the things I was asked to have played. they arrived and set up no problems all in all I can't praise them enough. wish we could do it every week. lastly Ed I hope my sister -in -Law didn't cause you too much trouble when she help with the tambourine playing. thank you so much for making it a great night x"

"The Upbeats Duo (Rachel and Peter) were incredible from the beginning to the end! Their communication was amazing, giving me preference from their set list, and they are so friendly. Then on the night, their set up was seamless and they were perfect! They had everyone up dancing the whole night, they are brilliant performers and everyone was so impressed. Really added to my party what I wanted and lots of guests have asked for their details too! Thank you so much! "

"The acoustic experiment were the perfect choice for our wedding. Their music appeals to all ages and the dancefloor was lively from the moment they started playing. Al and Ollie were also able to play our first dance live and fulfil a number of other requests to make the occasion personal and very memorable. "
