Review Centre: Wedding Bands

"Absolutely incredible, Starlet Beat made the best day of our lives even better! Since our wedding a month ago we have continued to receive comments from guests about how brilliant the band were. Everyone was dancing for the whole night! Karen was great at communicating before the event, taking onboard all our suggestions and including them in either the band's set or DJ sets in-between. She offered to perform our first dance song and the band learnt and played it brilliantly. We were an hour late getting to the dancing from some overrunning speeches but the band were not only remarkably good natured about this they were also really accommodating, fitting the full sets in a shorter time so we still got the full amount, even though we expected to be cut short as it was us running late. We cannot thank you enough! The music was so well arranged and performed with brilliant back-to-back medleys and something for everyone; we didn't leave the dance floor while they were on! So glad we had the full 8-piece lineup too because it was so good. I can't gush enough about how brilliant they were and the wedding card we found when we got back from honeymoon was also such a sweet touch. Book them! You won't regret it. We are already trying to work out whether we can afford an anniversary party as an excuse to have them back...Thank you, thank you, thank you! xxx"

"WOW! You guys made our wedding last night the most fun filled night. The dance floor was literally jumping all night. If the coaches hadn't have turned up I reckon the crowd would still be going! Best of luck for your forthcoming public gig and I'm gutted it is on when we are on honeymoon. Everyone is talking about how good you were. Can't thank you enough!"

"The Soul Brothers were simply amazing at our Wedding. We got married in August 2014 and I worked with Allan to do a surprise soul set for my wife (she didn't know until Allan started singing) for the lul between the Wedding Breakfast Finishing and the Evening starting, whilst out evening guests were arriving. Allan the team we're amazing, took time to review my specific songs, and even rearranged some songs to our requirements. I would highly recommend The Soul Brothers"

"Solid Gold were the band I chose for my 70th birthday party. They responded immediately to my initial requests and communication was excellent throughout the process. In the day they arrived early despite quite a long journey to get to our corner of Kent, and began setting up immediately. They are a talented and amiable bunch of excellent professional musicians who provided us with two brilliant one hour sets of music we’d agreed in advance, ranging from 50’s classics through to up to date popular bangers. This is their true strength; an ability to cover any kind of music to match the occasion. I cannot recommend Solid Gold highly enough, they’re a pleasure to deal with and provided a superb musical backdrop to my special evening. Thanks again guys!"

"To the amazing London Anthemic, We struggled to find a band that could deliver what we were looking for but after seeing your video and making an initial inquiry, we knew you were the band for us. During the many email exchanges and phone calls you, and your manager Guy, were always so responsive, patient and helpful. Meeting the band on our wedding day was a pleasure as you are all so lovely! We can’t thank you enough for effortlessly working around some of the unexpected timing issues. Firstly, well done... you managed to get everyone dancing with your perfect set list. You executed your performance very professionally with great sound, and Charlotte’s natural interaction with our guests took it to the next level. Our guests are still sharing positive compliments! Some of our happiest moments from the day are memories of everyone dancing and singing. We really can’t thank you enough for performing at our wedding. You smashed it. Their talent and stage presence was outstanding and the well planned song list kept everyone on their feet for the entire gig. "Wow wow wow - what a talented pair of musicians. Both my wife & I are so glad we chose you to play at both the church and the reception for our wedding. I really can't praise you both enough. You really did make our day that extra special, and so many of our friends and family agreed. The only bit I was disappointed with was that we didn't book you to play in the garden longer as time just flew by and we could have listened to you play all day. Thank you so much guys x "
