"We hired Funky Friday to play at our Enterprise Awards Evening, the band played whilst guests arrived, over lunch and at the end of the event.The music was exceptional and the band catered for exactly what we wanted, they were friendly and very well organised.I would recommend Funky Friday for any other corporate event."

"MATFIN provided the entertainment at our charity ball in Plymouth. From the very first contact they were super helpful and extremely professional. Everything literally was Covered. Matt (bandleader) is super quick to respond to enquiries and could not be more helpful. On the night of the event they were set up and ready to go early and on hand to enable us to use their PA for announcements. Once they took the stage the floor immediately filled and stayed like that throughout the evening. A collection of songs to suit everyone with extremely high standards of musicianship throughout the band. MATIFN were a crucial part of making our event such a success. Thank you MATFIN. We highly recommend you to anyone looking to put on a successful event."

" I booked The Verve jazz duo for my garden party to celebrate my birthday on the 15th of July 2017 after a recommendation from a friend. It was a huge success and we still talk about it to this day. The guys were really professional and friendly but, most importantly, played some wonderful and passionate jazz which made the day very special. Everybody loved it and the guys created the perfect ambiance for the event. The piano and double bass was a surprisingly full sound and the level of musicianship was absolutely top notch throughout. "Hi David and the band Wow, what a night!! How can we even begin to thank you for such and incredible wedding. Everyone had an absolute blast - the dancefloor was full all night! The Selection of songs and the delivery of them was just fantastic. Everyone has been commenting on how amazing you all were. You really were superb. "The Pharaoh's put on an acoustic set for my birthday and I can't praise them enough! Leanne's voice is so beautiful and they took on some requested songs such as Dancing in the moonlight which is a very sentimental song and they performed it so amazingly it meant so much to me! I've been to concerts that The Pharaoh's have performed at and they are just brilliant! I have their album which is often on repeat especially Runaway baby which is my favourite cover of theirs! I can't recommend The Pharaoh's enough!"

"“Absolutely loved this band! They looked and sounded incredible! Completely worth every penny and more! If like us you appreciate good music, played well and don’t want to compromise on it for your wedding then I would strongly recommend hiring this band. Every person I spoke to afterwards said they were the best wedding band they had ever heard and wanted their details. The dance floor was packed from start to finish whilst we got our funk on! "Vitula really made our day extra special. Hearing them practise and the venue filled with music whilst getting ready was a magical moment for me, and I know my husband loved listening to them whilst waiting at the top of the aisle. All the guests raved about how amazing they sounded! The quartet were amazing, nothing was too much trouble, and they were wonderfully flexible in the face of uncertain weather conditions. Nick in particular has been unbelievably helpful through the planning of our day and even after! I really can’t say enough kind words about them and would recommend them wholly to anyone. They will make your day feel so special. "
