"Modern Strings did a fantastic job at our wedding. I asked for a string trio. They followed my instructions to the letter and were very cooperative during the event and in the run up to it. They brilliantly played additional pieces of music that were not on their repertoire. They also beautifully played a mixture of classical and popular songs. All guests commented how well they played and what a fantastic idea it was to have a live trio at our wedding. The trio were smiley and extremely friendly and reliable on our wedding day. I would recommend their services to my best of friends and family and would employ their services again should I have another event. Very well done and thank you for making our special day even more special. "

"We visited the Liverpool Cathedral Wedding Fayre today and heard the most amazing string quartet ever, especially with the flute it just sounded spectacular. We immediately wanted this lovely group to perform at our wedding and it was all sorted so professionally and quickly. "May I just start by saying thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for making our day truly magical. I could hear you playing whilst I was waiting to enter the room all the songs I had requested, my walk in music was everything I had hoped for and the wonderful world you played whilst I signed the register still gives me goosebumps when I think about it. The guests loved you playing up beat numbers like queen during our afternoon tea (I think you could tell by all the singing going on) and then to carry on with an encore at the end was just brilliant ! I will make sure to recommend you to anybody I know getting married or having a special occasion. We hope to cross paths with you all again one day. Thank you thank you THANK YOU!"

"I always envisaged having a harpist play at my wedding, but I never quite imagined her to be like Sophie and I mean that it the nicest possible way. She is such a lovely talented lady, very elegant yet extremely down to earth at the same time. I really cannot stress what a difference she made to our day. To hear her playing when I first walked in was such a wonderful feeling, so enchanting, truly breathtaking. She plays so beautifully and effortlessly, I honestly could listen to her all day. One of the things I liked most about Sophie was that from the minute I picked up the phone to her I knew straight away she was the one that I wanted to play at my wedding, I was sold on her personality alone, she is instantly likeable, I felt as though I was picking the phone up to a friend and we chatted for ages and had such a laugh. She was so helpful and I needn't have worried about a thing, she can literally play whatever you want and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you for adding that extra special touch to our day, it was an absolute pleasure to have met and you will always be part of our special memories and I thank you for that. "

"I was looking on last minute musicians to book a string quartet for my wedding. They got in touch quickly and Kirsten was extremely helpful in sorting everything out. They have pages of songs, from classical to movie themes, choosing from the list was the hard part, because I loved so many songs. But they were constantly in touch making sure I chose the right songs. At the wedding they made my day extra special. All the guests were floored with their music. They were enthusiastic and really looked like they were having a great time! I can’t thank them enough and wouldn’t hesitate for a second to book them. "
