"We cannot thank The Nomads enough for making our wedding so special and I cannot emphasise enough how incredible they were. Everybody absolutely LOVED them & their set list covered so many of our requests. Their acoustic set was perfect as our guests arrived at the venue reception and milled around but the evening set stole the show and was absolutely exceptional. They surpassed every expectation and I think the fact that our guests were desperate for multiple encores says it all! These guys were friendly and professional and we would have absolutely zero hesitation recommending them to anyone! Thank you so so much. "

"We had these guys play at our wedding on Monday and they completely blew our expectations out the water. We had them play a chilled 45 min set as guests arrived and then a more up beat one after our first dance. They got everyone dancing and really got the night going, we couldn't recommend them enough! "Although not 5 piece as requested, 4 piece was more than sufficient. (It saved £100 as well). We did dances not done before plus two/ three favourites so really good. The calling was good and as usual patience was required in sorting out the muddles!! Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves, so a big thank you to the DGB ceilidh band and we would definitely recommend them and have them again."

"Licksquid were our first choice for our wedding reception and a brilliant choice right from the start. Dan and the boys were friendly and professional and tailored the set to our requirements. These boys aren't afraid of a challenge - we had a very particular request for our first dance involving the start being played acoustically then the band joining in later on - Lick Squid accepted the challenge and pulled it off brilliantly! They even traveled from Derbyshire to the Lake District for our wedding - if that isn't commitment then I don't know what is! Suited and booted the band played two long sets with the dance floor filled throughout to classic rock, pop and a mixture of other genres. Everyone was catered for young and old. Every single guest at our wedding was seen on the dance floor at some point which was a massive deal. We highly recommend Licksquid, they made our special day even more special and were so easy to deal with - a blessing during wedding planning!"
