"We hired The Locals for my wife's 30th birthday and can't recommend them highly enough. A fantastic group that play a great variety of songs, they really made the whole evening, one not to be forgotten. Also an extremely pleasant bunch of guys and we have had a couple of people ask us for their details off the back of them playing for us. Many thanks again to you all, you were Brilliant."

"I would appreciate it if you could pass sincere thanks to the choir on behalf of my mother and myself. Their music was beautiful and provided a fitting and solemn tribute to my father. I know he would have loved the music, in particular Heilig by Schubert. He really loved German choral music, and although I will never know if he had heard this particular piece, I know he would have enjoyed it. We had many comments from people who attended, saying how impressed they were with the choir, (including Father Francis) and the music really was very well received by all."

"I engaged The Chapel Hill Duo (Jaya and Sarah) to play at my summer party in August 2013. From initial contact communication was prompt and excellent. We discussed the requirements and music program and with their advice we decided on a selection of music which best suited the event and the guests. On the evening the performance was simply outstanding. My guests were delighted and several enquired about future bookings. I would not hesitate to recommend The Chapel Hill duo for your event. I would further note that their diverse repertoire covers classical right through to current popular music, all of which sound fantastic through strings. I hope to book again for a future event."

"We had a small party with about 45 family and friends in an intimate Sheffield venue last weekend (November 2024) and Max provided the music and songs for us. All I can say is Max, you are a supremely talented young man. Your multi instrumental versions of classic new and old chart hits kept us entertained all evening and had us all up dancing and having a great time. You catered for our entire age range from the mid 20-something year olds through to those of us more familiar with partying back in the 1980s and 1990s and we all enjoyed it immensely. Topping it all off with a couple of Christmas chart smashes at the end was a really great finish which everyone loved. Thank you for a fantastic evening Max, you are a legend !!! Thank you also to Sarah-Jane and all of the Team at Last Minute Musicians, not only for securing our booking with Max, but for your impeccable service. You kept us fully informed throughout the process and made sure everything was just how we wanted it to be, all culminating in a great evenings entertainment. Thank you to you all !!"

"Something Sweet were absolutely fantastic at my 30th birthday and really made my party. They were very pleasant to deal with before, during and after the event and the songs they played were spot on for easy listening and even some dancing. All the guests commented on how professional they were and what a great sound they had. The singer has a gorgeous voice. Would definitely book them again, and recommend them to others! 10/10. "Fi has, rightly, a greatly praised voice, and this worked a treat in that environment. She possesses excellent technique & frequently went for complex lines and pulled them all off with aplomb. She has equally good dynamic sensibilities and used shifts of these with discretion for extra effect. Alex's playing mirrored this: skilled yet tasteful with generally chorded accompaniment when Fi was singing and when it came to his solos, the runs, though often improvised, served the song, not his ego. They have an empathetic understanding I think: not just in the interplay between voice & piano but also in their several duets & this was another element in the playfulness"

"Lucy and Jack were amazing at our wedding. Everything we could have hoped for. They were great at learning my song requests for the whole day. Very reasonably priced for the incredible service they provide. Intimate and happy atmosphere created by their beautiful voices and musical talents! Completely perfected the musical genres we wanted of modern country and pop, with couple of older songs too. For any brides out there I highly recommend Lucy and Jack, and to have live singer whilst walking down the aisle, it was one of the most memorable parts of my day."
