"What a great band. We had them on the quarter deck at Britannia Royal Naval College after a colleague recommended them. We were not disappointed. The lead singer had the worst cold but overcame her illness and delivered big time. Thanks guys. Looking forward to a future date for our summer ball. "

"Absolutely Fantastic! We booked Mitch and his band for a corporate event held at Wyboston Lakes and everyone who attended thoroughly enjoyed it! A great mix of music, talented musicians and brilliant singers. Booking was effortless and very well organised. We couldn't have asked for more. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend for large scale events or smaller gatherings. Thank you again for providing us with such an enjoyable evening!"

"Kiki played at our birthday festival in summer 2024. They were absolutely amazing, loved the mash ups. All our friends and family couldn’t wait to tell us how good they were and what a good time they’d had. Can’t recommend them highly enough. I saw her again at Burnley Business Awards I told all my colleagues how fab she was and they were not disappointed! 🥳"

"The 8 piece band were the perfect choice for our wedding party. Wonderful musicians, hugely talented, and combining that musicianship with a huge sense of fun. The great thing was that the band really cared about our evening and their role within it. They played all the best party music, with a great mix of styles that appealed to all tastes. The band got everyone up and dancing. A wonderful day, and the band were the extra special bit that made our wedding so memorable.I would definitely use the band again and would recommend them to anyone – they are amazing!"

"Truly the BEST band ever and the most AMAZING people, If you are reading these reviews wondering if The Players are the band for you then let me reassure you that they are...... As a Wedding Photographer I have seen my fair share of bands but The Players were an easy pick for us, they really do know how to liven up the dance floor. We let them have free reign over what music to play and they picked some corkers. All our guests were raving over them and still are 2months later..in fact our friends loved them so much they are also booking them for their wedding :) They made our first dance so special and absolutely nailed the song, so much so we liked there version more than the original, I got in touch with Paddy from The Players and asked if it was possible for them to record there version of the song so I could give it to my wife for her Birthday - a few weeks later and I have the recording - Sara is going to LOVE it!!! If you are looking for a band then I honestly can't recommend them enough, They were easy to book, answered our questions promptly, came to the venue and set up with no issues, played great music all night and got our guests on the dance floor...they smashed it. "If you want a great band that takes you back in time then you most definitely won’t go wrong with the Pop Pickers !! They are fabulous and you will have a fantastic evening . You will be tapping those feet and singing along to all the best songs of the 50s 60s and 70s before you know it . Great party atmosphere ! Well worth booking this band ! You will not be disappointed !"
