"Thank you for the fabulous gig you played for us at our wedding. You were so accommodating, from setting up times to letting the kids all have a go on the drums, it made it all the more special for us. Everyone commented on how good you were, we couldn't recommend you highly enough. Thank you sooo much. "Now what can I say about the Band, Solid Gold. The event was my Masonic Lodge Ladies evening, of which I have the great honour of being master in its centenary year. As a result I wanted the evening to be the best possible, I was not disappointed. Paul and the band arrived mid afternoon for the event even though they were not due on stage until 9pm. Communication between us prior to the event was excellent, very professional and informative, then we get to the evening itself. WOW!!! What a night, over the years I have booked acts for many organisations and I have got to say Solid Gold stand out as the best by a country mile. Every single person had a fabulous evening and that was down to Solid Gold. During our pre event discussion Paul ask for details of the event, what kind of audience it would be and what kind of music I would like them to perform. As a result the band put together a playlist that was absolutely perfect, unbelievably now knowing that I am a big fan of The Who they set about learning a couple of Who songs,which they had never done before, perfect!!!! If anyone is looking for a band that are musically excellent, reliable and know just how to entertain an audience, Solid Gold have got to be their number one option, I cannot praise them enough. Thank you so much"

"Fantastic night. The Music from The Pop Pickers was Fab and the buffet was scrumptious. I didn't do any dancing (just had stroke) but my wife really had a blast boogieing with some of the ladies on the dance floor, thank you girls."

"Thank you George it was a huge success and everyone loved the ceilidh part even though it was a little chaotic that just seemed to add to the merriment! Hopefully you will come and play for us again sometime as we sometimes run charity events in the village. The whole thing went by in a blur and would love to be able to go back and slow it all down! "Massive massive THANK YOU to the band for the set they played at our wedding on May 26th! The reviews tell you everything you need to know about this band. We booked them based on what we'd read on here and made 100% the right decision. Communication from James was great from the first email right up until the day. I even met the band in advance briefly just to say hello which was good. We gave them a list of songs (probably too many!) but they based their set around that and the people at the wedding - there was something for everyone and the dance floor was full the whole time. James advised they play as late as possible to allow the booze to kick in (our guests, not them - very professional!) and it worked a treat, finishing around midnight. The DJ also played a great mix of our requests before and after their sets and had everyone up too - playlists are good, but you can't beat a DJ to take all that stress away so you can just enjoy yourself. Every one of my guests commented on how good they were. I can't praise or thank them enough for making our day so memorable - including the bruises I got from a tambourine they gave me whilst joining them on stage to sing to Mr Brightside and also their version of 'happy birthday' to my 8 niece - she was made up! So, if you're umming and arring you can stop right now. Pick up the phone and get them booked. They won't disappoint. Cheers boys and look forward to singing with you again one day! All the best. "The Misfit Makers were the perfect choice for our company celebration in Warrington. They brought a fresh and exciting energy that elevated the event, starting with some relaxed acoustic numbers during the welcome drinks and building up to a high-energy dance set. Their professionalism shone through, and their interaction with the crowd made everyone feel involved. It was an amazing way to kick off the new year, and we’ll definitely have them back!"

"House of Chords were absolutely fantastic at our wedding. Their sound is of really high quality and they created an amazing atmosphere on the night. We met over the phone prior to the day and had a detailed discussion about our music preferences, set lengths, last song of the night etc. This made us feel as though the night was tailored to us, making our day feel even more special. They have a wide choice of songs and the dance floor was filled from start to finish. They are also really professional and talented musicians, and they were very quick to respond to any queries we had prior to the event and on the day, giving us a stress free and enjoyable experience. Many of our guests commented to say how brilliant the band were too. We highly recommend House of Chords for weddings, or any other event for that matter. It's an absolute 10 out of 10 from us. Thanks again guys."
