"Hi Davie and the band, Now that the wedding is over and we are back from our honeymoon?, I just wanted to send you a massive thank you for the awesome night of dancing we had last weekend at our wedding at Lands of Loyal Hotel in Alyth. You have got to be the best ceilidh band I have ever heard!! The rocky and fast-paced sets were just unreal to dance to and all our Irish guests loved learning how to ceilidh dance. Such an amazing night and we really cannot thank you enough! I have dropped Chloe at Freak Music a wee email to say how fantastic you were and asked if she can put the review up on their website. "From the initial enquiry right the way through to the event, both the service and level of communication was excellent. Definitely highly recommend the service offered by LastMinuteMusicians. But, more importantly, Josh was absolutely amazing, and he soon had everyone singing along, clapping and dancing from the off. And bearing in mind our event was a small family gathering of around 30 people (in our garden) to celebrate our son's wedding, with an age range of 1 - 75 years, that was no mean feat ! Our small grandchildren really enjoyed every song and Josh responded amazingly by playing the songs that kept everyone dancing. It was so lovely to see them enjoying the live music, and we have lovely photos and videos to treasure. Thank you so much, you delivered on all counts"

"Spotlight Party Plus did a superb job for our wedding evening; I highly recommend them. Ahead of the date, they were the ideal communicators - very quick to respond, accommodating to different ideas and requests, with nothing too much trouble. They shared sample playlists ahead of time to help get our input easily. Max also had a quick phone call with me to talk through final details. On the day, Max was kind enough to arrive extra early (agreed in advance) and set up the PA system, so that we could have a microphone for the speeches during dinner. The full band were on time and managed all their logistics very professionally. The music itself was top-notch; they read the room perfectly, and the dance floor was full for all 4 hours of our evening. Naomi did a mix of violin and singing (both great). Max played bongos, and even let guests have a go playing them with his drumsticks. Both were out and about on the dance floor and brought a great energy to the room. The DJ did a great job keeping the energy going even between the periods with live instruments. Thank you very much SPP - you were everything we were hoping for for our big day! "

"Hello Fiddlestix, We are just away on holiday but wanted to thank you, the band and your fabulous caller for getting our daughter’s wedding reception off to such a great start! We knew we had a few guests who would definitely get up and take part, but to have so many joining in the fun and to hear all of the glowing compliments afterwards was great! The cheesy disco afterwards was good fun too, but I think partly that was down to the fact everyone had had such a great laugh with their attempts at barn dancing and were keen to stay on the dance floor! "We booked South West Band for our wedding at The Normans in March and we honestly couldn’t recommend them enough. They were easily everyone’s favourite part of our wedding day! They were so easy to work with in the run up of our wedding day - very responsive to emails and provided really useful information re timings. Excellent on the day! Everyone was up on the dance floor having an AMAZING time :-) We can’t wait to see them play live again!"

"We booked The Good Citizens as our wedding band, they were amazing and brought such a fantastic vibe to the whole evening. We had our first dance to them which was really special, and after that the dance floor was full all night. They played a brilliant mix of music that everyone loved and we had so many compliments from our guests. They really made the night unforgettable. Highly recommend!"
