"Jack was amazing! He sang throughout our wedding day. It was amazing to walk down the aisle to Jack singing. Your patience and generosity to learn songs for us blew us away. Jack really got the party started and had a lot of patience when other guests got up to sing with him. This all made for the most amazing atmosphere. Jack has the most wonderful personality which really shone through, together with a great singing voice. Thanks again Jack, you were integral part of our day. "

"Susie and Steve played for us at a recent celebration of life. Not the easiest event to play at having to keep up beat at event for someone lost in covid times, these guys were absolutely fantastic! We have had so many people comment on how fab they were too. Lovely people, great voices and playlist and a lovely time had by all Thank you guys "

"We hired Jack as some chilled guitar playing either side of our ceremony and just before our wedding Breakfast, he played every song we asked for and learned some new ones for us. He was professional and was the correct vibe for the times in which we booked him for."

" This is the third year we have had the pleasure of Black Velvet Band providing our entertainment for Burns Night. Once again it was an absolutely fantastic night had by all, with everyone thoroughly enjoying the dancing. Great explanations throughout and lots of fun. "Wow, what a singer! Lucy was an absolute star, travelling up from London with her guitarist to my party in the Midlands to help me out at short notice, as I was struggling to find an act I liked and was available for my birthday party. What I didn't realise was, not only is she absolutely lovely but she has an amazing voice, great range, a huge variety of songs and she even did me an Elvis number by special request. Her guitarist was a quality act too. I know there are lots of 10/10 ratings on here, but seriously I don't think you could give Lucy any less, if you hire her, she will make your event a special one."

"Amazing band, booked them for my partner's surprise 50th Birthday party and they really made it something special. We all had the best time and they got the crowd dancing (and line dancing) loads. Loved the barn dancing as well. Not a bad word to say. Highly recommend!! "

"Jock Rock were simply brilliant. Their music repertoire was right up my street and they learned our chosen first dance for us which was great. They played a great mix of ceilidh and rock / pop music which was just the right mix for the crowd - some bands don't have enough of a ceilidh repertoire, no problems with Jock Rock though.. They are lovely folk and I'd recommend them to anyone looking for a great band."
