"Booking Simcha Sounds for our son’s Bar Mitzvah was truly the highlight of our planning. They created the perfect balance of tradition and celebration — beginning with soulful, heartfelt melodies that gave the ceremony such meaning, and then transforming the atmosphere with a dancefloor set that had every generation dancing together. The energy was infectious, the vocals phenomenal, and the entire band exuded both professionalism and joy. We were especially impressed by how seamlessly they coordinated with the venue, caterer, and planner, ensuring the whole evening flowed effortlessly. It felt polished and world-class, yet still warm and personal. Our son told us it was ‘the best night ever,’ and we know Simcha Sounds played a huge part in making it so."

"We had these guys for my daughter’s 18th birthday party in the garden. They were brilliant. Friendly, enthusiastic, very talented and played a wide variety of music that had all ages dancing - we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them and would love to use them again - book them quickly, they’re going to be very popular!"

"They were absolutely fantastic. The dance floor was full all night, and they interacted with guests so well. One of our nephews was invited on stage with them for a guitar solo which he LOVED and was such a nice touch. Can't recommend Straight Up enough. "

"We had an amazing evening and you guys were fantastic! The band really delivered - you did an amazing job at rallying the crowd and played some belters to keep the dancefloor busy the whole night! We especially appreciated you taking requests from the guests and got some really positive feedback from them afterwards about you all. A few highlights included The Killers - Mr. Brightside which we reminisced with grins on our faces whilst on our honeymoon at a dive bar in Las Vegas where pictures of the band adorned the walls and the song came over the speakers; James - Sit Down which really got the guests involved; and finishing with Neil Diamond - one of my all-time favourites! You were brilliant too in the build up - with great communication and going above and beyond to make the process as stress free as possible. "I had an awesome birthday party thanks to the VIP Formula. The communication with the group before the event was impeccable, and I felt at ease immediately. During the event, the band was awesome and had the room dancing immediately. Had such a great time thanks to these guys, would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a latin band."

All your songs were my favorites. You didn’t just turn up do a job and leave you really interacted with us, you came into the dance floor and sang to the audience. Multiple shout outs to me.
