"A big thanks to Mike and the rest of the band for a brilliant evening. Everyone has said how much they thoroughly enjoyed it. A special thank you to Alan, the dance caller. He did a great job - quite a comedian! Finally a big thanks to the band for welcoming our fiddle-playing friend Richard into their ranks for the evening. He said he had a fantastic time. What a great party band the guys make! I'm very happy to recommend them to anyone having a bash. "

"What can I say? The band was brilliant. Great vocals from Johnny, ably supported by Mike on fiddle and Eddy on accordion. By the end of the night everyone was dancing and calling for more. "Mark was super. Arrived early, familiarised himself with the set up of the day, played music and sung throughout the day and everyone got up and had a dance. He had such a wide variety of songs, there was something for everyone. "

"Black Velvet Band Ceilidh Trio – Emma’s Daughter’s Wedding – April 2025 What a brilliant evening! The band were exactly what we wanted for my daughter’s wedding and really helped the reception go with a swing. Good music and the caller was great fun and guided us through the dances. Really good communication leading up to the wedding, too. Thank you for a fabulous evening."

"We have just come off Anthem and thought the band were brilliant with an amazing selection of songs for all tastes. We only managed to catch them a couple of times but both nights were some of our best on board, the effort that goes in to their performances was noticed! "Many thanks to Kelly & Graham of ‘It takes 2’ It was an absolute pleasure to meet Kelly & Graham of It Takes 2 last night Afan Tavern Cwmavon With years of experience this duo kept the night alive with a mixture of upbeat songs ranging from 50,s to current top hits of rock, pop & country music, all of which kept the crowd dancing who thoroughly enjoyed! Kelly’s vocals & personality lit up the room along with Graham’s vast musical experience which he made playing the electric guitar look so easy! "Dear Kellys Heroes, Thank you so much for playing at our wedding. You were brilliant and so patient with us! So many of our guests have remarked how much they loved it- from the 20 year olds to the 70 year olds, all loved it and joined in, which is exactly what we wanted. Even the hip-hop fans who normally grumble at anything else were up having a whale of a time. We appreciated you expertise and advice and would recommend you to others. Everyone enjoyed the music - it was perfectly gauged to the party and Mark was very easy to work with. All our guests commented on what an amazing talent he is. It couldn't have been any better - even the freezing cold evening didn't stop us as Mark moved into the games room and the dancing really began in earnest.
