"Hello Absolute! We just wanted to say thanks to the band for performing at our wedding recently. We had seen you before so knew that you were a great band and our guests seemed very impressed. The rendition of our first dance song (You are the Best Thing by Ray Lamontagne) was perfect, so thank you very much for that! "We absolutely loved having Black Velvet Band play our wedding ceilidh at Clearwell Castle. My husband is from Scotland so we wanted a traditional Scottish ceilidh feel with some of the classics, and we were not disappointed! We had a good feeling about Black Velvet band from the moment we booked them - and sure enough, Mike and the guys were absolutely fantastic and made our evening party a huge success. The band were great and the instructions on the ceilidh dances were so helpful; even those of our party who may not have normally danced were up there loving life on the dancefloor. The fun and friendly atmosphere they created was just fab and so different from your ‘usual’ evening do. All our guests commented on how much they enjoyed the ceilidh and some said it was the best wedding they had ever been to. We would 100% book the band again and recommend them to friends. Thank you for contributing to the best day of both our lives. Love from Hannah and Deryk x"

"We booked Funk With Us for our 30th wedding anniversary and the band completely exceeded our expectations. We were hoping to find a band that would play our favourite hits from when we first met and the band made an effort to include those songs in their set. Our guests especially loved how engaging both singers were, with the odd friend taking the mic and the lead! We are very happy for booking Funk With Us and will definitely recommend them to our friends."

"Judy was really well organised and communicated well with prompt responses, even suggesting a local venue that they know works well - exactly what you need when you're organising an event! The band sounded great, with a wide repertoire of songs from different backgrounds but all feeling familiar. The caller struck the perfect balance, teaching and guiding where necessary but allowing the dancers free reign when we got into the swing of it. Everyone had an amazing time, with many, many positive comments received about the band. I will be recommending the Barnbuskers to anyone planning a similar event."

"Steve, Geoff and Absolute Band were brilliant to deal with from start to finish. Really friendly people, superb musicians and ensured our dancefloor was busy all night.
