"It's the day after booking the Rib Ticklers for my husbands 50th Birthday. It was wonderful!! The band were nothing but professional, accommodating and very friendly! The choice of songs was well matched to the party crowd and we were sad when it was over. We have had many texts saying how good the band were and where did we find them. Thank you for all your help with our questions beforehand too. We are very happy customers. Great service from start to finish and price was very competitive. "

"What can I say? If you are a fan of Irish music, instrumental or with vocals then Dermot and the rest of the amazing musicians are who you need to hire! They were an absolute joy and a pleasure to have play at my beloved father's wake. They are such lovely and friendly people as well as fantastic musicians with a vast array of instrumentation between them. They graciously accepted requests prior to the event and also from some of the guests. My dad would have absolutely loved it and it made a very sad day very joyful and comforting for everyone. Our guests commented on how wonderful they were and the pub staff as well. I highly recommend hiring Dermot and the gang for any event, not just a wake. Communication was excellent before hand and hiring Dermot and the band were the easiest part of the many arrangements that we had to make when organising our dad's funeral and a wake. We sincerely thank you and highly recommend you, The O'Brien family."

"Many thanks to The Rib Ticklers for helping us raise money at our charity event for The Injured Jockeys Fund. They were brilliant and kept a wide age range of people on their feet all night. "From the initial enquiry right the way through to the event, both the service and level of communication was excellent. Definitely highly recommend the service offered by LastMinuteMusicians. But, more importantly, Josh was absolutely amazing, and he soon had everyone singing along, clapping and dancing from the off. And bearing in mind our event was a small family gathering of around 30 people (in our garden) to celebrate our son's wedding, with an age range of 1 - 75 years, that was no mean feat ! Our small grandchildren really enjoyed every song and Josh responded amazingly by playing the songs that kept everyone dancing. It was so lovely to see them enjoying the live music, and we have lovely photos and videos to treasure. Thank you so much, you delivered on all counts"

"Black Velvet Band Irish Duo yet again provided fantastic music at our Christmas party. The duo are so flexible and helpful - this year they played quite a few Scottish reels etc for our Highland Themed Party which was perfect. The vibe was also just right and got lots of people up and dancing. It was a key contribution to the overall atmosphere. Please thank them for me. I highly recommend them! "

"What a joy Mark was at our village fete, the evening was cold but Mark kept us there with his crowd pleasing tunes as we danced around the fire pits under the stars to Maggie May, Honky Tonk Woman and Mustang Sally to name but three of the best 😊 We would definitely recommend Mark for your event "
