Review Centre: Covers Bands

"On the 20th of October 2023 I hired the Moonlight Jazz to provide entertainment for a prestige awards ceremony held at the Molinuex Stadium Wolverhampton. From the booking process to delivering a mesmerising genre of upbeat Jazz performance, all the guests loved the performance. For this reason, I can only score 10/10, if it were possible I would score them 11/10! Look forward to working with them in the near future."

"Soul of The Party played at our wedding in Sefton Park Palm House and were absolutely amazing! They had our guests of all ages up on their feet dancing, bringing all of the good vibes to the dance floor. They are all so talented and we couldn’t recommend them enough! The whole process from start to finish was seamless! They even surprised us with one of our favourite songs! They truly made our wedding evening even more special. Definitely a night to remember thanks to the whole band!"

"Sophie and I just wanted to thank you guys so much for keeping everyone entertained during our wedding day back in August, you managed to do exactly what we had wanted and did with such high spirits.Thanks also for being so accommodating all my little surprises like learning the music so that Samantha could sing the first song, and sorry for not having time to sing Kiss From A Rose. "If you’re into the 50’s and 60’s music then you’ve got to see this band! The Cat’s Whiskers cover a wide range of pop songs by various artists. The band members including Suzy on Keys vocals, Noel on bass vocals and Jules on rhythm guitar vocals. I saw them perform many times in the past. I have booked them for my 70th birthday party in July 2018. Jean C. "

"Dealing with Lynette ahead of the event was a pleasure, she was very easy to talk to and make all of the arrangements with. It was a shame I didn't get to meet her on the day, however this was down to her and the team just getting on with the job, by following the information she had been given to get to the venue and where she needed to be, which on a busy event day is just what you need. Fantastically low maintenance! Reports from our guests were really positive, the music was perfect and was pitched at just the right volume to provide a lovely ambience for our lunch, without being intrusive."

"What a band! We saw the Heat at an event earlier in the year and thought they would be great for our daughter’s wedding. They didn’t disappoint. They played a superb couple of sets that filled the dance floor throughout. They were the icing on the cake of the day. Many guests commented on how great they sounded. They also went on to provide a disco afterwards. They played a huge range of covers. I’m so glad we took the decision to book them. Communication with Martin beforehand was clear and friendly. If you’re having a bash - you won’t be disappointed with the Heat. "

"These ladies proved perfect for our 1940's themed cruises, entertaining our passengers with a great range of wartime and big band standards, with frequent changes of costumes and great audience interaction. A delightful trio of ladies who were more than happy to change set lists and performance times throughout the day according to the needs of the ship. Their day with us ended in passengers dancing and joining in a full throated sing- a - long to much acclaim. One of the most entertaining and versatile groups I have used in 40 years of running cruises, we have received strong positive feedback from our passengers, and will be booking Angie and her trio again in 2025 for another 40s themed cruises. "We hired The Marvellous Motown Souls after hearing 2 of them at a wedding fair. From then on I thought they were a great band but also lovely people which was important to us. We even went to see them at another event to show the parents. The acoustic set during our wedding breakfast was just right and they went the extra mile for our bespoke first dance which they put together for us which went down a storm with our guests. We really appreciated the recording before the wedding we so we get it just right. We would highly recommend this band and me and my husband had many compliments about the band and the music they played"

"Rosie & The Rockets were fantastic, they kept the dance floor buzzing all night and they were really flexible. They sounded amazing and we had guests telling us this all night. Well worth the money and we hope to see them at another event in the future."

"We booked Kingfisher to play for my daughter’s festival-themed Hen and Birthday celebration. Communication with Gary was second to none and nothing was too much trouble. Everything went exactly as planned and the band were awesome. This was our first time booking a band so a massive thank you to Kingfisher for making it a day to remember."
