"We had a fantastic day and a huge part of it was down to 10x! Everyone has been raving about you and we've lost count of how many friends and family have described you guys as 'the best wedding band ever' (it’s still happening 3 weeks later!)! The music was absolutely brilliant and everyone had such a fantastic time and you had everyone dancing all night which I don’t think I have ever seen before - and all generations too which was lovely to see. It goes without saying that if we’re ever asked for any wedding recommendations you will be top of the list!"

"Ma Bessie and the Pigfoot Band, so as you might imagine, we stayed rooted in the 20’s and 30’s, but with a more rounded, sophisticated feel. No one does Bessie Smith better that Ma Bessie, and we are lucky to have her as a local artist here in Reading. As her Pigfoot duo finished getting ready for the set, Ms Bessie launched into an unaccompanied ‘Life Is Too Short’ taken from her album of the same name. As soon as she takes to the stage she creates an immediate connection with her audience. They are all her friends, and she chats her way through the set. With timeless classics such as ‘Hot Time In The Old Town Tonight’ and ‘Do Your Duty’, Bessie Smith featured highly in the set. Songs like ‘Downhearted Blues’ and ‘Trouble Trouble’ kept the mood intact, whilst songs like ‘Sugar In My Bowl’ and ‘Whip It To A Jelly’ highlighted the risqué fun elements of the music of the era. Matt Foster provides the perfect solid guitar rhythm and bass line support for the smooth yet gutsy vocal, and with Chuck Lloyd adding his superb saxophone it was another fine performance. "

"Well what can we say, The Business you were amazing, the dance floor was jumping all night all our guests loved the music. From young to old and the bride and groom somewhere in between you kept us on our toes all night. Absolutely fantastic would highly recommend this band."

"The Cheers played at our wedding a couple of weekends ago and they were totally brilliant. They are so talented and their music choice was spot on - the dancefloor was full all night and even all our older guests were boogieing ! They were very professional to ensure all the arrangements were in place for their performance and they were very accommodating to some of our younger guests who wanted to dance during their soundcheck time. Everyone has been raving about The Cheers and how much they enjoyed the music and dancing. They really were a highlight of our day and we would definitely recommend them to other couples looking for a band for their wedding. "

"These guys played the ceilidh at our wedding reception and they totally nailed it. It was a great night, with great fun had by all. Their caller was clear, and their musicians were top-notch. They were also really kind and facilitated the fact that we were running behind schedule, even to the point of staying 15 minutes later than booked for. Would definitely recommend them to anyone!"

"You guys were quite simply superb. You were everything we could have wanted from a ceilidh band and more. Even now (months after the wedding) people are still raving about how great you were. Every single person got up dancing at some point and loved every moment. There are even people that have never been to one that are now having one at the their wedding next year (keep an eye out for the email from them!). Even the Scottish side of my family agree that you are the best band they have seen. You pitched the night perfectly so that the experienced dancers and the novices all really enjoyed themselves. The photos from that section of the night are full of people laughing and having fun and that is purely down to you. Without you the evening party would have been nowhere near as fun or memorable and we were all gutted when you had to finish. From a personal perspective you were so friendly and quick to respond from my first enquiry and were so accommodating to the little things that we wanted. You made everything so easy and didn't need to call anyone on the day. The biggest thing for me though is that you are young and have a great blend of modern thinking and respect of tradition. Some of the other bands i contacted were so stuffy and rigid in their approach which made choosing you so easy. Overall you made our wedding and will be a treasured memory for the rest of our lives."
