"Such a talented duo, music ranging from 60s to today, even did an Irish section as some visitors from Mayo were over....good fun ,nice banter with the audience, seen them now 3 to 4 times one of these events they did a great Mark Bolan set. perfect for a small family do, through to weddings or corporate functions......cant fault them."

"Groove Army played at our recent celebration for about 100 people at the Suffolk Barn, Hawstead. They were brilliant with a great set list and sound. Very discreet setting up and clearing away and got the whole place dancing the night away. Thank you"

"Very many thanks to you and W4S. Absolutely everyone has said how good you are (in the most glowing of terms) – and we mean absolutely everyone. We expected everyone to be a bit jaded by the end of the night. Especially after going since 11 in the morning. But to have everyone up dancing all evening and still shouting for more when we had to close was brilliant. Please can you pass on our thanks to the rest of the band including your DJ. We had a lot of good compliments about you from our guests so thought it would be nice to pass them onto you. "Thank you for making my sons wedding day so fantastic. The band were fab (pardon the pun), the guests were up on the dance floor from the first chord being strummed. The lads even let my little grandson sing 'We All live in the Yellow Submarine' with them making it extra special. "South West Band played the most amazing set for our wedding evening at The Tithe Barn, Bolton Abbey in December 2023. From the initial chat with Henry over the phone, where he provided lots of details and tips for the wedding day, to Lauren, who was great in the run-up to the big day and helped us with any queries. Requesting Coldplay for our first dance was no problem for them and they played a worldie in The Pogues to close out their set with some Christmas spirit. The addition of the DJ set to extend the entertainment was well worth it. The lads on the night were great fun and up for a laugh. Despite never meeting them previously, they felt like our friends. Thank you again South West Band!"

"After seeing The Shakesters play live for the first time we knew we had to book them for our pub’s New Years Eve event. We had put in a lot of work for our ticketed party and we needed an exceptional band to play. Luckily we were organised and booked early enough to seal The Shakesters for our event. They absolutely blew the roof off!!! Such professionalism from start to finish, amazing set list, incredible look and sound and without doubt the best event band we have ever booked! They had every single guest in the pub dancing all night and even played for extra time! The days following our event were flooded with amazing comments from our guests. The Shakesters were without doubt the key ingredient to the success of our event and we will be booking them again and again!"

"If you want your guests to dance all night, have loads and loads of fun, to not stop talking about your wedding, then this is the band for you. I can’t praise them enough – not only do they put on the best funky disco show ever, they manage themselves in a very professional manner. If you want people to talk about your wedding forever book this band!!"

"I booked the quartet to play at my nan's 80th birthday party and they were perfect! They were incredibly communicative and accommodating in the planning of the event, arrived promptly and waited patiently whilst we herded the guests. The repertoire was exactly what we were looking for - jazz and swing classics that my nan and our family enjoyed dancing to. A most excellent time was had by all! The standard of musicianship was of an excellent quality - the demo clips on the site are truly representative of the performance you can expect. Five stars all round "
