"Dear Anne, I just want to thank you for organising and leading the orchestra last night. As always it was a pleasure to work with you. Thank you for putting together such a good group of players who were all so nice to work with. The trumpets, they came good. Great oboes as well. Not to mention the violin solo!! "Saturday went really well. The band were great and the client was delighted - both with the sets the band played and the backing for when Laurie sang! The additional half an hour playing was also really appreciated. Also, during the planning stage, the time that was spent re-assuring and working with Laurie ready for her solo was great. From our point of view it was lovely to work with such a nice band, very easy going and flexible when timings and plans changed on site. The music was briliant, the vocalists were amazing too. All in all a resounding success - so thank you very much. Hopefully we’ll be working with you all again soon."

"The band were phenomenal. From our first meeting to discuss the wedding, the guys were really personable and professional and really took an interest in learning what we wanted to help make our day as special as possible. On the wedding day, they did all the setup without a hitch and the performance totally blew me away. The energy they put into the performance was immense and they had everyone in attendance dancing for hours. Most amazing, though, was the way they interacted with the guests - walking through, encouraging engagement and even letting me, the groom, have a solo performance which was an impromptu requests. Really, I couldn’t have hoped for a better experience and only wish we could do it all again!"

"Funk Federation were an excellent band, there wasn’t an empty dance floor at ANY point! The feedback from everyone at the party has been 5 star! The band were friendly, fun and enthusiastic, the singer even came onto the dance floor a couple of times which was great fun! I would not hesitate to use this band again or recommend them to friends and family!"

"We booked them for our wedding and they were amazing! We would definitely recommend them. Very talented musicians, tight, exciting set from classics to up to date tunes to get everyone dancing! They communicated to us the whole time through, when we had to keep changing the date due to the pandemic. The interaction with the audience was fantastic! They were kind enough to let me play my saxophone to surprise the groom and guests. They made our evening reception so special! Thank you!!"

"I think judging by all the messages and the photographs, everybody had such a fabulous time. Everything about the music was just perfect, a great mix of songs and yourself and the band fitted in with all our wishes, everything was timed so well. Thank you all so much, I personally was sorry the evening ended, it seemed to go so quick."

"Top stuff, made our wedding. We saw the band at our friend's wedding and could not believe how good they were - we had to book them for our wedding too. Literally, every person at our wedding danced all night. So much love towards these guys. Easy to deal with and we still talk about it today. "

"Gary was a fantastic steel drummer with such a great talent. After searching high and low for a valuable artist to play at my partners 30th surprise carribean themed birthday party, I most definitely made the right choice in booking Gary!
