They recently performed at our wedding and they were absolutely incredible, and they received so many compliments from all our guests. The energy they brought meant the dancefloor was always busy and the sax was so adaptable to all genres of music (from sean paul to earth wind and fire!). "We had the BEST night and are so grateful for the Highball Heavies! I was looking for a band to help celebrate my partners 30th birthday. He loves indie/ rock. We were able to pick the set list which was amazing to make sure we had songs we like 🙏 all the guests said how amazing the band were and we danced all night 🥹 they have the best energy and were so friendly/ professional. Also very good at communicating and the process was so smooth, no chasing up or worries needed. Thank you so much team 🙂 highly recommend!!"

"After Dark were fantastic! Adam and the team were engaged throughout the booking process and catered to all our requirements for the evening. Their arrival and set up was smooth and easy and kept perfectly to their timings. The music was thoroughly enjoyed by all and we will definitely look to book the band again!"

"Radio Dukes played at our wedding and they were fabulous, all of our guests commented on how brilliant they were. I literally danced all night, they packed the dance floor full all night and were just brilliant. I would definitely recommend them for any occasion. All correspondence was professional and quick and they were super flexible. I've never hired a band before but they made the whole experience stress free!"

You were a real find when we danced all afternoon to you at Newbury and as soon as I saw you I knew you would be perfect to help me celebrate turning 40! "Hired to play for our festive party last December in front of a packed crowd and what can you say well there were brilliant, Fully professional band you are a must for anybody wanting a great night of music, And i've seen loads of pro bands in my time and these lads were just as good if not better at times with very good harmonies with the rest of the band and to be honest there under selling themselves with the price they charged, Will look no further when I want a band for my future events. "

"We booked Chunk of Funk to help us celebrate a significant family occasion. To say they exceeded our expectations is an understatement. The party was originally booked for 2020 but due to Covid it had to be postponed. Steve was happy to hold the booking for as long as we needed and throughout communication was first rate. On the day, they fitted in with everything else that was happening seamlessly. They provided two sets of one hour each and there wasn't a song that wasn't met with whoops and cheers from our guests. They were also more than happy to accommodate song requests. The band were brilliant and the singers exceptional. I would absolutely recommend that anyone booking Chunk of Funk go all out and book the whole band, with brass section, as it makes a huge difference. Chunk of Funk are definitely up there as one of the best party bands. "
