"It was a real privilege to attend a solo guitar concert given by SmoothGuitar at St Bartholomew's Church Penn Wolverhampton. We were treated to a wide-ranging program. The core of any classical guitar concert are the pieces from the Spanish repertoire. We started with Romanza – anon and ended with a Farruca Flamenco. A particular highlight for me was the Prelude 1 by Villa-Lobos. Here we heard SmoothGuitar's technical skill and musicality at maintaining a beautiful melodic line with right-handed arpeggio accompaniment. There were fun moments with The Girl from Ipanema and the One Note Samba. Take 5 of Dave Brubeck fame and the James Bond theme sounded quite at home on guitar. The concert ended with a captivating rendition of All I ask of you from the Phantom of the opera as an encore. "

"Having previously seen Ollie live at a couple pubs, we arranged for him to play several sets of songs at our joint birthday party and it was one of the best decisions we made! He had a wide variety of songs from all genres and decades that catered to a large crowd of 150 people. He sent us lists prior to the event of his repertoire and was even happy to take suggestions beyond this list, making it even more special. Since the party, we have had amazing reviews from attending guests and we praise his flexibility on the evening for slight changes in set times throughout the night. We wouldn't hesitate to book him again!"

"I recently had the pleasure of hiring Rob, accompanied by a robotic skeleton drummer, to play at my party, and I must say it was an unforgettable experience. Rob's raw and soulful voice, combined with his expert guitar skills, had the audience captivated from the first note. The robotic skeleton drummer added a unique and futuristic touch to the performance, with its precise and rhythmic beats. Throughout the night, Rob and his robotic companion played a mix of classic blues and rock tunes and original compositions and I could tell that everyone was thoroughly enjoying themselves. What impressed me most about the performance was the synergy between the guitarist and the robotic drummer. They played seamlessly together, with each element complementing the other perfectly. It was a truly unique and innovative experience that I won't forget anytime soon. Overall, I would highly recommend this blues guitarist and singer, along with his robotic skeleton drummer, for anyone looking to add a touch of futuristic flair to their event while still keeping the classic blues sound alive."

"Lisa played for our wedding last year and was absolutely outstanding. She made the day even more magical. Lisa was so easy to work with while giving us loads of helpful advice and meeting our every requirement. 4 couples who attended our wedding went on to book her for theirs and were every bit as happy. "John and the band played at our wedding last night in Tunbridge Wells and were absolutely amazing. Great communication from start to finish, accommodated our wedding date move due to Covid and played an amazing set. All guests were gutted when the band finished and wanted the party to continue. "I would just like to say how marvellous Alan was as the guitarist at our daughters wedding His playing was excellent. He played a wide selection of tunes for varying parts of the day. He even learned new tunes for us. All the guests commented on how wonderful he was. He was friendly, polite and just blended in seamlessly to what was going on, adding that extra sparkle for us. We would thoroughly recommend Alan for any event. He was just perfect for our wedding and we thank him enormously."
