Review Centre: Function Bands

"Liz and her band played for our wedding in Halifax, we saw four members perform at a wedding fair and knew we wanted them for our evening reception. We booked the 6 piece band, requesting a few songs which they were happy to do. All our guests had so much fun and we are extremely happy we did not have just the DJ that was booked with the venue. It really broke the evening up nicely and Liz got the crowd going from the second she picked up the microphone. The songs were sent to me a few weeks before so we knew what to expect and we were really happy with he choices. All songs people know from Motown to modern pop. I recommenced the band to anybody who wants a party. Definitely an amazing wedding band. Thank you for making the end our day so special."

"I’d really like to have you back again soon. You fit in perfectly with the clientele, I just wish that some of the crowd we had during the day where still there in the evening. Next time we have a day event, it will be better to have you perform in the garden at about 3pm. I’ll be in touch. Many thanks in advance for the cd. "We recently booked The Ace Jazz Band for our wedding at the end of June. Needless to say, they were absolutely amazing. We had them set up on the lawn of our venue as a surprise for our guest (we hadn’t told anyone about them) and the guys were extremely accommodating in doing this. We asked them to arrive at a different entrance to the venue so our guests wouldn’t see them, which they were absolutely fine with doing so. Their performance on the day was first class and all of our guests loved them - and are still talking about them to this day! All the guys are extremely friendly and were a pleasure to speak to, before and on the day. Couldn’t recommend them enough!!"

"Best band in Nottingham hands down! Hired them for my mums wedding and they had everyone on the dance floor one moment and then had everyone moved to tears the next (in the best possible way) They played all night for us and we loved every minute, they truly made it a night to remember!"
