Review Centre: Wedding Bands

"Just to say a huge thank you to yourself and the rest of your band members who attended our wedding celebratory party on sat 2nd September at our home in the Brecon Beacons. A lot of our guests (some of whom are professional/semi-professional players themselves in other ceilidh bands in England and Scotland!) commented on the high standard of your musical performance as well as your ability to inspire them to put their feet on the dance floor without too many mishaps. "Chose these guys for my 30th party based solely off their showreel and it was a great decision. The guys were phenomenal live. Very talented musicians but also lots of fun- interacting with the crowd and dancing along. There was a great variety of current and classic songs and each one was a floor filler. Definitely would recommend!"

"It goes without saying that both sets of musicians were absolutely fantastic and their choices were just perfect too. They were on time, looked great, sang amazing and performed to a very very high standard. I have to say, I think they enjoyed themselves too! I cant thank you enough for being so willing and happy to help at such short notice. My neighbours and friends are still talking about the entertainment and that goes down to your expertise and the quality of the performers. Thank you once again and I cant wait to use your company in the not to distant future."

"Fraser And The Cheers played at our wedding reception in August 2013. They were absolutely amazing and really got the party going! There was a huge range of songs they could play, everything from Steve wonder to Jessie J, so we had lots to choose from. On the night they were all very professional and relaxed, and the guests loved them. The music was perfect and we wouldn't hesitate to have them again! We highly recommend them! "

"My hubby and I booked The Spectrum for our wedding this year. We originally booked another band around 9 months ago but they cancelled on us two months before our wedding. We nearly just booked a DJ and played it safe because we hadn't heard them live but once we listened to their demo's and saw the list of songs they choose from I knew they were the ones! Also speaking to James, one who sings, reassured us both and he was really helpful. It's clear that they have played for lots of weddings and understand how important it is to get things right! They played our first dance and from then on our reception was amazing! Everyone I spoke to commented on the band and how much fun it was. Plus some of my guests liked dancing with the guitarist on the dance floor when he was playing a solo! I would thoroughly recommend them and hope to see them at another wedding soon!"

"I first saw MCATM at a gig in Salisbury. Not only did they sound fantastic with a brilliant set, but they got the whole pub on the dance floor...on a Thursday night, including me who was the sober designated driver. I was so impressed with what I had seen and heard, I decided that night to book them for our wedding. We met with Lewis and Clare a few times to discuss the music/sets before the wedding; they were professional, friendly, down to earth and knew exactly what I wanted for the day, and learnt a lot of songs for us. Come the wedding day; they arrived early to set up so not to disrupt the day, entertained from 2pm to early hours the next morning ...including playing outside, but also were super fun with my guests! They learnt our first dance "Perfect - Ed Sheeran" and made our dream come true as it literally was perfect. Fun was had by all and honestly I am so happy we chose them as they made our wedding incredible. THANK YOU MCATM"

"Love for Sale were brilliant from start to end. Their communication was friendly, quick and very clear. John was so lovely in emails and phone calls and really made the booking so simple. The guys on the event day were brilliant, they arrived in plenty of time, were set up and ready to go at the event start time and were very professional. The music was wonderful and such a great addition to the party, they created a great drink atmosphere vibe and really lifted the mood. They accommodated a break in the set list for a birthday surprise and no request was to large or small. I would thoroughly recommend Love For Sale for any event and will certainly be using them in the future. "

"We cannot say enough good things about this band!! Fantastically skilled, wonderful musicians that created a warm, fun atmosphere from the moment they arrived at our venue. Every single one of our guests has commented since about how wonderful the music was and what a good job the caller Kip did of bringing everyone together and talking us through the steps in a relaxed but clear manner. The music the band played was varied and appropriately chosen for our style of wedding reception and EVERYBODY got involved and had a dance - the music really brought people together and created a wonderful atmosphere all evening. This band are amazing and excellent value for money, and we won't hesitate to hire them again at our next big gathering. Thank you so much Blue Jewel for giving us a magical evening, you were the cherry on our wedding cake!"

"The AfterParty were an absolute hit at our 40th party. So many people have commented on how much they enjoyed the music and energy of the performance.  Louise and the team were fantastic in the lead up to the event, supporting us in picking songs and making the entire set up completely stress-free (no mean feat when organising a 40th party in a pedestrian access only venue!)  The whole band were incredibly polite and professional, and Louise even went above and beyond to carry out some MC duties.  Cannot recommend highly enough. Outstanding.  "

"Absolutely fantastic. Many of our guests said it was the best wedding they’d been to and we 100% put that down to the live music. The band kept everyone on the dance floor and interacted with the guests which was fab - despite being hassled with requests from a few. Thank you so much guys - you absolutely made our wedding! "
