"We booked the band for our wedding reception back in October. We are both huge Irish music fans and have had several memorable trips to Ireland so it was especially important to us to have a live Irish band on our big day. We spend a fair amount of time looking for the “perfect Irish band” and were over the moon to have found the Extonions. From the initial enquiry Mac was both friendly and very professional. He instantly made us feel like we had made the right decision and was more than happy to include any special song requests we had. He then made sure they included on the night and that everyone had a great time. All the band members were lovely and friendly chatting to our guests and fitted in perfectly with our relaxed party atmosphere. Many of our guests have commented on how great they were and we would not hesitate in booking them again in the future or recommending them to others. Thanks so much for making our wedding day so memorable."

"AMAZING BAND! Still smiling thinking about our wedding. They played for our evening reception and were absolutely unbelievable. An almost telepathic ability to play exactly what we and our friends wanted to hear at the exact moment. Everyone danced from the first song until the last. All our guests commented on how amazing you were, I'm just trying to think up an excuse to have another party you guys could play at!! :) "

"We were thrilled with the music! (On the 15th of May 2015 at Oxenfoord Castle). We thought you guys did a fantastic job during the ceremony. We have had a chance to look back at some of the videos and the pieces that we asked you to learn sounded great (2 new arrangements of Irish folk pieces). Unfortunately we missed most of the music during the drinks reception due having photos taken, but we spoke to lots of guests who all said the music was brilliant.  And I believe a few of the Canadian’s were trying to pressure you into staying longer – sorry about that!  Overall we had a great day, and we think our guests did too, and you and your players were a big part of that, so we’d like to thank you for your great effort."

"Gemma was absolutely incredible at our wedding! She could not have been more accommodating, especially with us having to postpone three times. "Both my wife and I had the most incredible wedding day on 24/08/19, and your evening set was awesome from start to finish (we were blown away by your version of our request and the surprise of playing our wedding song at the very end!). We cannot thank you enough for an absolutely brilliant evening and for creating a superb atmosphere, along with fun memories. The guests loved you, proven by the fact that the dance floor was busy all night! It was a real pleasure having you celebrate our special day with us and we will certainly see you again in the near future, ready to rock out all over again! Hope you took lots of cake (if Wil didn’t get there first) and that you have a great time at your second gig in 24 hours. "A fantastic Evening, the most accomplished Musical Duo ,especially with the variety of their performance we have seen for many years. Their connection with the audience made for an extraordinary and enjoyable evening. The mixture of styles and the variety of instruments they played was a joy and an eye opener that , and the level of ability with all the instruments they played was Phenomenal. "Very many thanks to FOB. You were awesome! At the Reel club ceilidh last Monday, there was a great band, and enthusiastic dancers, but very few of them, which seemed a poor omen. However, I needn't have worried – what a contrast last night! More than double the numbers, a complete sell out! A great start to the year, with lots of freshers having a fantastic time, dancing to your music. Many thanks from me and the Round."
