"The Flamingos had our wedding guests on their feet all night! As a smaller wedding of only about 40 guests, we were a bit nervous if we would be able to fill the dance floor. But with The Flamingos we need not have worried! They combine incredible musical talent with real creativity and energy and the ability to get--and keep!--a party going. They also went above and beyond--learning our first dance song from scratch and giving us a beautiful rendition of it. We are so grateful to have been able to book them for our wedding! "

"The Rosebourne Duo performed at our wedding ceremony and reception. They were brilliant at accommodating our song requests and were so enthusiastic and positive throughout the whole process. They moved between the venues with no fuss and despite the rain, their musical accompaniment to our big day was very special and we would highly recommend as an alternative to a string quartet."

"Black Velvet Band Ceilidh Trio – Georgina’s Wedding Ceilidh – July 2025 The band were a great edition to our wedding party event. They arrived on time and had no issues setting up independently with minimal direction from us as hosts. They gave good directions in terms of getting us started with a first dance, and set the tone for the two sets they played perfectly – giving great instructions to the mostly complete novice crowd present, with a good dose of humour alongside. Everyone there from small children through to retirees was able to participate. I wouldn’t hesitate to book them again for a future event, or to recommend them to others."

"We just wanted to say a huge thank you to you and the band for a fantastic evening and bringing the fun to the party. You guys really lifted the room and kept everyone on the dance floor. Thank you so much for learning our unusual first dance request, you nailed it! Ben, your timely communication, support and advice throughout the process were incredibly appreciated and meant this stressed out bride had a lot less to worry about! We would love to do the whole thing again and will be looking for any excuse to have a party in the future and get you guys back!"

"The Dixie Rhythm Busters played as a two piece at the start of the reception. It started to rain so we all moved into the tipi. The duo started to play popular songs in a jazz style, which got people on the dance floor straight away!"

"What a band, played for us at a private party. Full of energy, great songs the five musicians are amazing, very professional band. Would recommend them to everyone who wants a great night out. Can’t thank them enough for making the evening such a success. Everyone was up dancing . Definitely seeing them play again ."

"We booked the Nouveau Quartet for a Coronation Afternoon Tea event at Ardoe House Hotel in May 2023. They tailored the programme beautifully to our requirements, added in a section with patriotic pieces such as Nimrod, and we ended with the National Anthem. All so well thought out and played beautifully. "

"Elephants in the Room are a sensational, exciting, versatile band that will make any small or large venue rock. The music suits all tastes, ranging from the sixties to current popular anthems and includes slow, soulful ballads and energetic heavy rock. This isn’t just a good live band but a mesmerising performance totally engaging the audience. We hired Elephants in the Room for a private party and they delivered on every count – kept 100 people dancing and singing all evening. This is the ultimate live party band. I couldn’t recommend them highly enough"

"James and the band were brilliant, and we are so glad we booked them for our wedding celebration. James was really helpful in the lead up to the day: getting in touch, making sure we were aligned on the schedule and following up with a clear plan. The band on the day were excellent - they performed a great selection of music played during our canapés, dinner and then dancing. Our guests loved the music, they were all on the dance floor even though we had a relatively small crowd! The band also learned a first dance song for us (Elvis Presley - The Wonder of You) and they performed it perfectly for us on the day! Thanks so much James & the band!"
