"My first experience of a live steel band was listening to “Caribbean Heatwave” on board P & O cruise ship Ventura. And what an experience!! Heatwave gave passengers a wonderful Caribbean musical introduction, playing lots of popular reggae and traditional songs, but coupled with well-known ballads and even some wonderful jazz numbers which went down a treat when we were in New Orleans. The leader of the group was amazing to watch (he plays with four sticks) and showed his huge personality, skill and talent as he produced fantastic sounds from two pans. Great to watch a consummate performer in action. I wish him well, and his band."

"From the initial message onwards he was helpful, upfront and professional and managed to work with me to provide a service within my budget. The communication was always timely and helpful and he made sure he had all the information to provide a performance that fit in with what I was looking for. They showed up on time and set up with no distraction to the rest of the party then put on an incredible performance. The playing and singing was spot on and they were clearly in tune with each other as a band. The setlist was absolutely spot on with what I was hoping for, with a good mix of older rock classics, some alternative, some modern pop and plenty of indie rock which was exactly what I was hoping for. Sonic Landslide even played a Tom Petty song for me at my request despite it being only 3 days before the event. Their lively and engaging playing style meant they got everyone up on their feet dancing and they ensured music was playing even between sets so the guests were never not entertained. Mike and the band were more than happy to chat with guests between sets and were all polite and friendly but weren't intrusive to the party. Overall, I could not recommend Sonic Landslide enough. They are timely, professional and reliable and will put on a performance that will blow your socks off!"

"We hired The Marvellous Motown Souls after hearing 2 of them at a wedding fair. From then on I thought they were a great band but also lovely people which was important to us. We even went to see them at another event to show the parents. The acoustic set during our wedding breakfast was just right and they went the extra mile for our bespoke first dance which they put together for us which went down a storm with our guests. We really appreciated the recording before the wedding we so we get it just right. We would highly recommend this band and me and my husband had many compliments about the band and the music they played"

"Ella performed at our wedding yesterday and was amazing! We had great comments from lots of our guests, most of them wanted her to play on longer! Even a change of set half way through her performance due to the rain didn’t affect her! "

"The band was fantastic to work with, very helpful in the run up to the wedding with sending us pre recordings of our first dance song and organising the songs to be played on the night with us. They were also very flexible about having part ceilidh and part covers during the evening which was perfect! Lilac’s voice is incredible! The ceilidh went very well and all the guests enjoyed themselves swinging each other around! Very friendly and professional team - would definitely highly recommend to others!"

"We put a call out for a harpist who could play Disney & musicals. The message we got back from Dorothy was amazing - it was so personal to us and she as so excited to play the music we wanted. We booked her immediately without question. She is amazing to work with, learning video game and 2000s movie songs for our perfect walking down the aisle experience. Our guests LOVED her and couldn’t stop raving about her all day. We are so grateful to have had someone so genuinely lovely, talented and passionate as part of our wedding, and I couldn’t recommend her enough."
