"You were simply extraordinarily kind, helpful and generous with your time and offerings. Rory. Your flexibility to adapt to the occasion and effort to provide the music requested for before and after the live singing, was amazing and much appreciated. Your partnership with Harry was brilliant and his cajon just gave that important Latin American flavour to the event. Sereta's singing was wonderful too. Thank you, Thank you. THANK YOU! "Rory, you, Harry and Sereta were simply wonderful. Not only did you follow thoughtfully what I had requested in the type of music and Latin American ambience for my 70th birthday lunch with 70 people, but also took the trouble beforehand to find some specific music (i.e., the Chabuca Granda songs) and incorporate them into the repertoire. In addition, prior to the event, you kindly replied to all my e-mails and gave me some amazing suggestions including the willingness to incorporate some DJ music during the welcome cocktails and prior to the main music section after lunch. These little things make such a difference and show what a lovely and caring man you are, Rory, as well as being very professional. Please thank Harry and Sereta from me.  I was sorry that with all the chaos of the day, I may not have thanked them enough. If the top mark was 10, I would score you 11!😊 Thank you, thank you, thank you."

"Our wedding was the most perfect day and these guys made it more perfect than I could have imagined .Their energy is infectious and every guest commented on how brilliant they were. The attention to detail was second to none from singing me down the aisle. Live music during drinks reception and the. Full DJ and live music throughout the evening. "The Blue Suede Shoes are a fantastic band and we are so pleased that we chose them for our wedding. Their communication from the start was brilliant, they were really helpful and went out their way to accommodate exactly what we wanted for our big day. Their set list is great with something for every age, which is perfect for a wedding when you have little kids dancing alongside great uncles. Their playing was flawless and we received lots of compliments from guests about our band choice. All in all, a very professional, friendly group, who I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a wedding band."

"We are so glad we found John and the band and asked them to play at our wedding! They completely made the night at our tipi wedding reception in the forest and fitted into the laid back festival/party atmosphere just perfectly. John spoke to us on numerous occasions before our big day; the organisation seemed so easy and all went according to plan. They even caught some videos of everyone dancing the night away which have given us some great memories! Everyone has been talking about the band and how brilliant they were, a perfect mix of music with a bit of a difference! Thanks to John and the band for making our wedding so incredible "

"From initial contact with The Fireflies, to booking, to actual date of event the communication was perfect. On the big day the band were here when stated and then gave us the best music and atmosphere, even more than I could ever imagined. Everybody at the party said how amazing they were, how they got involved and interacted with everyone!! I would highly recommend this band and DJ. Please book them!!! From one very happy customer."
