Review Centre: Wedding Bands

"What can I say... Partyzone were our band for our wedding in December 2014. They absolutely smashed it!! Played all the big tunes and kept the dance floor full all night long! All of our guests had the best time and have commented on how the band rocked the evening. They also played for us an acoustic set during the ceremony which without fail set the standard for the day/night. If it's a rocking atmosphere and a full dance floor you are looking for this band will not disappoint."

"From the first contact, Jake filled us with confidence that it was going to be a great event. His communications prior to the night were professional and allowed us to personalise the type of evening we wanted to create. The band arrived promptly and set up with a playlist in the background suiting our preferred genre. They were helpful in changing the timings on the night to accommodate the mood of the party. The music itself was fantastic; they're a talented bunch of musicians! And they have the ability to modify the playlist, depending on their audience. Lots of our guests commented on how good the band were. All in all, value for money. And we have total confidence in recommending them. A huge 'thank you' to Jake and all the band members for helping to make our wedding party a night to remember."

"We wanted to say a huge thank you to you and the band for playing at our wedding last weekend. You were absolutely brilliant!! You played some of the family favourites just beautifully and absolutely filled the dance floor for our (ahem – unofficial) ceilidh. We had so much fun dancing the night away. I understand one of the 3 year old cousins asked you to play one of the tunes again – I suspect that is a moment that will go down in family history. Also – thank you so much for all your help before the wedding – I’m notoriously bad at returning phone calls and you were fantastic at staying in touch and keeping on top of communication – I really appreciated that."

"Just about recovered from the night now! Yes all went well, the feedback we have received has been fantastic from the guests that came along and from the staff who worked it too. A specific highlight was Paul who we have been requested to bring back another time, apparently many people were keen to book him for private functions too. "We were so pleased we booked the AirWaves! They completed our wedding day, the dance floor was packed all night. Great band, top vibes and very good communication leading up to the day with a fantastic set list to pick from. So many great songs in fact, that we struggled to whittle it down! They really pulled through on the night and delivered even better than we had imagined. Our guests were full of praise. As the bride, I don’t think I ever left the dance floor whilst they were playing. Do book this band if you are considering them, you won’t be disappointed! Thanks again guys! Ruth & Andy"

"The Celebrations from Pineapple music were great, they played at our wedding and we passed their details on to other friends who were getting married. each time they rocked the joint, played some classic tunes and were a very slick line up. Lots of fun and very professional to work with."

"If you are looking for a band to fill the dance floor, these guys are exactly what you need. I CANNOT recommend them enough. They absolutely made my husbands 50th birthday the most amazing night EVER! Not only are they great musicians but they are so friendly and go way above and beyond anything we expected. Thank you all for making the night so fantastic!!! I will definitely be booking them again. "We had The Verge for our wedding in June and were absolutely delighted with them. They were brilliant in every way. Beforehand we went to see them at a gig in Cardiff, and were really impressed – we spoke about our wedding and they were really enthusiastic from the start. They played exactly the sort of music we wanted, and played it incredibly well. Moreover, we also enquired whether they would be happy to play a different version of a particular song as our opening dance. Despite never having played it before, they absolutely nailed it, playing it exactly how we wanted. They really got everyone going, even having myself and my wife up to sing various points. On top of that, they were all really friendly. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a rock/pop/indie band."

Excellent musicians, they provided a superb selection that matched the mood and wants of our guests. Compliments came from all quarters during the party, and we were delighted that our guests were so pleased with our choice. In preparing for the booking leader, Pete Duncan spoke with me to ensure that the band understood what was needed. They got it right. We could not have made a better choice."
