"Chris Flegg and his group, Mellowtone Jazz, played at both my 65th and 75th birthday parties to my and everybody else's total enjoyment. I would thoroughly recommend them. If you want people on the floor dancing, this is the group!! Their library is very wide, and they seem to be able to accommodate most requests."

"Nicky, Jake and Richie provided exactly the blend of music we were hoping for to entertain a fun loving mixed age group at our 50th wedding anniversary. It offered rich entertainment while allowing guest to converse and mingle - and later on the opportunity for hitting the dance floor, even at our advanced age! "Emma recently sang at our church service singing a mixture of hymns and contemporary songs. We couldn't have been happier and all our guests commented on how good her voice was, really adding something special to the service. Emma was great to work with and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend her"

"Ryan and Jenny played our festival wedding in July 2023. They stepped in at the last minute when a band we had booked previously cancelled. They were brilliant from the start. Jenny was responsive to all communication and immediately put us at ease. They took into account the type of music we said we liked and reflected this in our set list. They let us use their microphone for speeches during the interval. Can’t say enough good things about the Canny Sound. They really helped make our wedding and I wouldn’t hesitate to book them again."

"Thank you so much for your help with making our recent wedding at Rowhill Grange so special. All of our guests absolutely loved having the band playing as they enjoyed their drinks & canapés, and so many have commented how it was wonderful to have something so different and unusual at a wedding. Martin & I were so delighted you were able to provide the tropical atmosphere that we wanted & you really helped to make our day absolutely wonderful for us both, although of course the perfect weather helped (so thanks too if you had any hand in that!). "We are so happy that we made the decision to book The Pharaoh's for our wedding on the 3/09/22. Our guests are still talking about how good the band were 2 weeks later. We knew from the early stages of planning we wanted a band and fortunately the band were able to make our rearranged date. They stayed in touch throughout what would become nearly 2 1/2 years since making the booking and responded to our questions throughout the time period. They even went the extra mile and learnt our first dance song as it wasn’t one which they had played together before. They were fantastic on the night, the dance floor stayed full and they even let a few of our guests get up and perform with them. We were married in Yorkshire with the band coming from Essex. Everyone at first wondered why we hadn’t gone more local, but once the band started playing they understood. Would recommend to anyone wanting a band who can perform songs across the decades."
