"Laura and I just wanted to pass on a massive thanks to Jay and the guys for the fantastic music at our Wedding on Saturday night. Every single guest said the band were the best they has ever heard/seen at a wedding and we couldn't agree more. There was something in the play-list for everyone and boy did the party lift off in the second set! From start to finish, both yourself and the guys were absolute professionals through the lead-up, setup and finish. If anyone is reading this looking for an upbeat Indie-Rock 'floor filling' band for a very special occasion, like we were 5 months ago, then honestly look no further as these are the ones! 21c will not disappoint you and you can book these guys in confidence that your night will be fantastic as ours was. "We would like to thank Alex & Jon from Lazy Marmalade for their incredible performances throughout our wedding day at Helmingham Hall! They sang very touching numbers during our church ceremony, performed a great chilled out acoustic set during our outside drinks reception and a couple of buzzing evening sets which had all our guests up on the dance floor and demanding more still at the end of the night! We can’t count the number of guests who came up to us and asked us how we found Lazy Marmalade as they were so impressed. The most impressive part was how they sounded like a band of 4/5 members, not a duo! From the day we booked Lazy Marmalade they were very responsive, getting back to our countless email queries within the hour most of the time! An absolute pleasure to deal with - their music made our day extra special. "

"I engaged The Chapel Hill Duo (Jaya and Sarah) to play at my summer party in August 2013. From initial contact communication was prompt and excellent. We discussed the requirements and music program and with their advice we decided on a selection of music which best suited the event and the guests. On the evening the performance was simply outstanding. My guests were delighted and several enquired about future bookings. I would not hesitate to recommend The Chapel Hill duo for your event. I would further note that their diverse repertoire covers classical right through to current popular music, all of which sound fantastic through strings. I hope to book again for a future event."

" The band was MAGNIFICENT! Such talented musicians and a unique and fabulous part of our wedding day. We loved the musical choices and were surprised yet delighted that our guests took it upon themselves to take to the dance floor! Quite unexpected but a testament to the magical qualities of music. Witnessing multiple generations responding to the music became one of the most special memories of the day! The atmosphere this band created was electric, and seeing as many of our guests were musicians or involved in the creative industry we can wholeheartedly recommend this band for an event! "

"Sam was excellent, he stepped in at the last minute and helped us out of what would have been an awkward situation for our wedding! His playing was fantastic and he did a great job of playing for the room and incorporating personal touches we had asked him for."

"Rory is a talented professional. He contributed greatly to the ambience we were trying to achieve for our Brazilian-theme wedding shower. He plays several instruments very well and has a broad repertoire to choose from. We were glad to have asked him to play at our function."

"My husband and I walked into a packed dance floor at the beginning of the night - which is unheard of ! From that point onwards, I never saw the dance floor empty , the atmosphere was amazing - I really can not say how happy I was with these two. If you are able to book them, this duo are amazing ! "We have now had the pleasure of hiring Gary's Caribbean Steel Drum Band on two occasions. On both occassions our guests were very impressed, as were we and I would not hesitate to recommend them. Their music is "happy" music and with it comes the "sunshine" even though it was a rainy Saturday in May 2012. Thank you for making my husband's birthday party one to remember."

"Wow, what a singer! Lucy was an absolute star, travelling up from London with her guitarist to my party in the Midlands to help me out at short notice, as I was struggling to find an act I liked and was available for my birthday party. What I didn't realise was, not only is she absolutely lovely but she has an amazing voice, great range, a huge variety of songs and she even did me an Elvis number by special request. Her guitarist was a quality act too. I know there are lots of 10/10 ratings on here, but seriously I don't think you could give Lucy any less, if you hire her, she will make your event a special one."
