"Christina and Harry recently played at our wedding and Wow they were amazing! After listening to their music we just knew they were the right choice for us. We chose two songs for them to perform (entrance and exit of the ceremony). They put their own spin on the songs, which was amazing, the duo are so talented! They also played a set at our drinks reception and received nothing but great compliments from our guests. We also loved the extra mile they went to by providing us with a video clip of the entrance song. We love watching it back! We highly recommend this duo for any occasion!"

"The Weekend Groove played at our wedding in Cambridge and were truly excellent. They learnt our first song for us and were very flexible on our choices for the remainder of the set. This flexibility extended to the evening where we had to delay the start and they were absolutely fine with it. Once they started, everyone was jumping around on the dance floor all night and we have had many of our friends and family comment on how good the band was. I would highly recommend them."

"Perfect for our wedding. Came highly recommend from an entertainment specialist who knows......They offered a full and changing variety of entertainment throughout the day. A vast musical repertoire of different styles to suit as the day progressed....., We chose acoustic for sessions in the sun with the champagne. Electric then suited the disco later on. No separate disc music was required either, they happily filled in gaps between their sets with prerecorded music of our choice. We have to say how professional they were. There early so the music played exactly when required. Happy to stay right to the end. Very friendly and generous, exuding a happiness that really added to our day! They deserve every success!"

"What a great band! We contacted them 2 weeks prior to our event and they duly obliged. They got to the venue in good time and everything was very straightforward and easy. Music was tailored absolutely perfectly for our Young Members and it really got them going. Thank you Midnight Rumour. Definitely recommend them!"

"I absolutely loved this pair. I recently planned a wedding in Duns, Scotland and Sally & Graham drove over an hour to play about 3 hours at my event. Everything went completely perfectly, from our communication beforehand, the song list, them adding songs I requested, the location and sound quality for their sets, and setup/tear down. I wanted a relaxed, acoustic sound with talented musicians definitely not a DJ party wedding band, so this duo was perfect for that. This website and this band are excellent value for the range and, again, quality of the music, 100% worth the price and more. Before the event, I gave them some some requests including Africa by Toto, which they REWROTE and learned in their own style (HUGE HIT and really surprised my husband). Also we coordinated a place for them to setup, the times of the sets, and what meals they wanted to have, and everything went off without a hitch. They were also so very sweet and wonderful people that they really impressed all my guests who were complimentary and wondering where I found such an amazing band. One of the best things about the Scotswood Acoustic Duo is how their song list covers a huge variety of music that they somehow play all equally wonderfully. So everyone's music tastes were satisfied and it made for very interesting listening, this was one of the compliments I heard alot. There are just so many nice things to say, please book this band and get them doing music full time because they are AMAZING!"

"Matt, thank you so much for playing at my gangsters and molls birthday party on Saturday night. Barry and I saw you and the band playing at a wedding reception last year and you were so fantastic we wanted you for our party. You played a brilliant set to suit all tastes (I just love your cover of Basket Case!) and I really appreciate you including my couple of requests for the recorded break music. Everyone commented on how great you were (my work mates were still talking about you this morning!). We would definitely recommend you to anyone looking for a band for their special event. "The Covered were great throughout the planning of our wedding and their performance on the actual day! We got married on New Years eve, and given the covid rates around this time it was pretty touch and go whether new restrictions would be put in place. John stayed in touch throughout which was reassuring! On the day, unfortunately one of the vocalists was taken unwell which meant that John and the rest of the band had to re work their set list pretty much on the spot. That being said, we would never have known if john had not told us. Their performance was great and all of the guests really enjoyed the evening! Would highly recommend The Covered for other weddings and events! Thank you."

"We saw this band over a year ago at a Fake Festival in Peterlee and the couple whom I was asked to be bridesmaid for booked them for their wedding last week at Newton Hall oh boy they were fabulous everyone young and old absolutely loved them we didn’t want the night to end they even allowed the newlyweds daughter to perform with them which made the night magical, great stuff guys xx "
