Review Centre: Wedding Bands

"JBMAC played for our wedding on the 2nd May 24 and they were unbelievable! Leading up to our special day we had loads of contact, picking out the best set list and playlist for the DJ in between the live music sets. They even learned our first dance song to play live which was not the usual type of music they do and they played it fantastically! We went with the 4 piece band and were quite concerned as our venue had a noise limiter however they managed it perfectly and didn't set it off once! Throughout their performance they got the crowd up and dancing and every one of our guests commented on how great they were! We couldn't recommend them highly enough! Thank you JBMAC! "Each year our section hold a rally. Each year we visit a different location alternating between the UK and Europe. It was my turn to organise a weeks rally in the UK, and I chose the Two Bridges Hotel near Princetown as our base. We needed some form of entertainment for our Gala Night. Our group are in the in main middle fifties and some over eighty so the last thing we need was a rock group. I had some opposition when I suggested a Folk group but I prevailed and have to say that tracking down a band was in the area was extremely difficult. Typing a search in Google for local folk groups resulted in names almost everywhere except in the West Country. Eventually I contacted Blue Jewel and Steve convinced me that they could adapt to our needs. Every single person enjoyed the groups performance, there were 62 people there and almost every single one said how much they enjoyed the group. As the organiser I was greatly impressed by the way they accommodated our requirements and we had a brilliant night. Thank you Blue Jewel Chris. "Radio Invaders were absolutely fantastic and really made the night of our wedding. The band came and setup without fuss and were very accommodating in playing a requested song for our first dance. They put together a brilliant set across the different decades that kept a lot of our guests up and dancing the whole way through. Their years of experience really showed, they were faultless and sounded amazing. Booking the band was one of the best decisions we made and all our guests of all ages loved the set. Would absolutely recommend to anyone else considering booking."

"No matter who we speak to that was at our wedding evening party, ALL of them say the band was amazing and we wholeheartedly agree! Possibly the best ceilidh band I've heard, topped off with really clear, friendly instruction (which can make or break this sort of thing)! Even those who aren't so inclined to dancing loved it so I can't think of a better way to get everyone involved and enjoying themselves. The guys were really helpful to deal with and the best priced as well so I would definitely recommend them to anyone! Thank you very much for making the evening such a success chaps!"

"These guys rock, they played hit after hit and they were incredible. We spent most of the evening on the dance floor, their set list is huge and they had us all up and singing along. We opted for a 6 piece band and it was well worth it, the added musicians really filled out the sound experience. Totally recommend these guys. Even their sound check was quick, they made no fuss, no issues, turned up, rocked out and then left. We loved it! Thank you."

"Pop Club/Motion Picture were simply Fantastic. We wanted a focussed 80s set which did not disappoint plus they learnt a Duran Duran song to include in their repertoire for the evening. Everybody who attended went out of their way to tell me how good the band were. On top of this, they are a bunch of nice lads who were happy to chat before and after their set. I would recommend them 100%. I never expected to get this level of quality and professionalism for the price. "

You were beyond fantastic, played longer than they were supposed to, shared the stage and their gear with a band they had never met. Utterly fab music.
