"Having Absolute Band topped off our perfect day. I don't think we really got any photos as everyone was dancing from the moment they came on. In fact, I think people were even dancing to their sound check! Communication was great throughout the booking process and we liked that you could choose to add certain musicians so we included a fiddler as we wanted some Irish classics too. The band played two brilliant sets and before we knew it, the night was over. Exactly how we wanted our wedding to end, with everyone wanting more! "Simply an awesome band who were easy to deal with and great comms leading up to the big day. On the night they had everyone dancing and after the day all our guest said they had the best day so thank you to Gavin and the team. We would recommend and will also get out to see them perform again at public gigs!!"

"The Blue Jewel Ceilidh Band were a great asset to the evening. The band members were friendly and they were very good at spreading their enthusiasm with the party guests. They did not give me any cause to regret making the booking, and I would recommend them to others. The choice of dances was appropriate for the skill-level of the guests, and the caller was a good coach for those one or two who did not know their clockwise from their anticlockwise. They helped to make a really good evening that everyone enjoyed. Thank you."

"Hi Aly (and all the Aluinn and Definitives musicians), WOW - you are brilliant, amazing and totally delivered!!! Thank you all so much for playing at my party at Markington Hall last week and making it such an incredible evening. Really enjoyed both bands equally. Quite a few people were worried about the ceilidh and told me they "probably won't dance" but they did and they didn't seem to stop all night. And then the momentum seemed to pick up even more with the Definitives sets - just fab. Quite a few people have asked me for your details so I hope this will lead to more bookings in our area. "We were thrilled to have Unwritten Duo perform at our steampunk-themed wedding. Total professionals! They learnt songs from our favourite bands, arrived and set up early for us. We loved Jo's voice the first time we heard her and they gave a stunning performance for us and our guests. I recommend Lady Rose to everyone. Absolutely brilliant! "

"We hired the Marvellous Souls for our wedding evening. One of our biggest concerns when wedding planning was that no one would be dancing on the dance floor. We couldn’t have been more wrong. The dance floor was full all night thanks to the amazing talent and engagement from the band. Each member is incredible at what they do and they are such genuine lovely people. We went with the 6 piece band and it was a perfect dynamic, the band played so well together. We also hired the DJ who created a great atmosphere before the band and kept everyone dancing after the band finished. The wedding venue even said it’s the best band they have ever had at the venue! The communication prior to the wedding was first class and we were immediately put at ease and felt well taken care of. They were very organised, professional and everything went very smoothly, we didn’t have to worry about a thing. Would 100% recommend booking The Marvellous souls if you are looking for talented musicians, a good time and professionalism! Thank you for making our wedding day so memorable and fun! "

"Seriously all thanks go to the band. Alter Ego really made the evening for everyone. Absolutely every guest commented on what a great band you are, the numbers you played, the excellent musicianship and your great rapport with the crowd. Can't thank you enough for making our party really take off. Colin and I were just delighted to see the dance floor we hired was too small for the numbers wanting to dance. "Everything perfect. Band arrived as scheduled and set up well before we were due to sit down. Dance floor was full the whole time and all the guests I spoke to all agreed the band were superb. Would definitely recommend."
