Review Centre: Organists

"Des provided live solo piano entertainment at our home for my wife's 60th birthday. We had about 45 guests and we are lucky enough to have a large lounge with our own baby grand. Des started playing at about 3.30 in the afternoon and played and entertained our guests for 6 hours on and off with every style of music from classical to jazz. It was absolutely brilliant and we are very grateful to him for helping make the day complete. "

"William and Mark , thank you so much for making our Wedding day so special. As a duo you complement each other very well, and together you delivered an all round great experience for us and our guests. Everyone commented on how good you were and would recommend you without hesitation. Mark, playing our piano requests during the wedding breakfast made it very personal, and for you to go to all the trouble of getting the music for 'The Brides Piano' from the original composer just made it that bit extra special and meaningful for us. We look forward to seeing you both and the full band at the Frank Sinatra tribute in Leamington in December."

Thanks for the review John, we had a great day doing the musical honours for you at Foxhill Manor - such a grand setting. It was a pleasure playing the piano for your wedding breakfast, and fulfilling Elaine's dream of playing The Wedding Brides Piano by Roy Todd. By contrast, the evening totally rocked with Rob Thomson (William May) at the helm!

"Mark's input into my daughter's wedding was incredible! He could not have shown more interest or commitment to making their day really special....from an initial visit to discuss and offer advice on their choice of music, then an extra follow up visit to see the two venues involved and familiarise himself with the church organ (he even managed to arrange a rehearsal of 'Ave Maria' with the soloist at the same time!). Mark's repertoire and versatility are amazing. He played beautiful classical music during the civil ceremony on his top of the range keyboard (adding a dramatic blast of organ for Bach's Toccata and Fugue as the newly weds left the room!); then he dashed across to the village church 30minutes later for a blessing and baptism ceremony, where he played the church organ beautifully, including an improvised medley to fill in a delay at the beginning of the service! Then back to the main venue to play jazz and 'easy listening' music throughout the reception and wedding breakfast!! You name it...Mark can play it! We were so relieved to be able to leave all the musical details in his capable hands. He obviously loves music and it shows! "

Thank you for your fantastic feedback Heather. It was a brilliant day, the weather was great and everything went to plan. I enjoyed using all of my skills...........pianist, organist and keyboard player to play all of the styles of music that you required. It certainly was an unforgettable day, and it was a pleasure to perform for such lovely people in a stunning venue, Narborough Hall. Also, thanks to Georgie and her team for making me feel so welcome, and looking after me rushing around everywhere!

"Des was brilliant and listened to our ideas. We wanted a more modern feel to the music played during signing of the Registers and Des gave a list of suitable pieces. He even purchased the music to Elbow One Day Like This. Des slogged his electric piano into Church to get the full effect. He played the traditional hymns on the Church organ. We highly recommend him."

"Gareth played at our wedding in Chiswick on 20th June 2015 and we can't praise him enough. We had a church service with two choirboys, Gareth went through the options with us all and worked with the boys to make them feel comfortable. "Lester provided our church music and hymms for our wedding in September 2018 and was absolutely brilliant. He was great at organising everything with us beforehand and on the day was fantastic. It was stress free as Lester was very reassuring with the whole process and the music we chose was played so well and exactly how we wanted. We wouldnt change a thing, the ceremony was perfect and would highly recommend Lester. Thank you!"

"Stuart was absolutely amazing. In the run up to the wedding he was very easy to communicate with and worked with our music expectations. Having chosen a singer quite last minute, he also worked with her to finalise all the music with no fuss. And of course he played beautifully on the day! Highly recommended and thanks again Stuart."

"Absolutely fantastic! Gareth was ultra accommodating and truly made our wedding ceremony with his perfect playing. We met him prior to the day and he was so helpful with regard to our music choices. His email correspondence was fabulous and extremely quick. On the day, we had so many comments about Gareth's performance including from our priest who was very impressed and may hopefully book Gareth for a church event in the future! Aside from his general brilliance, he topped my day when he played the Harry Potter theme as we signed the register. It was a tingly moment! We can't recommend Gareth enough. "I just wanted to say a massive thank you to Mark for playing the organ so wonderfully at our wedding this weekend (9th Jan 2016). From the moment I first spoke with Mark, I knew we were in good hands. We contact Mark fairly last minute and finalised the music for the wedding only a week before the day but there was never a moment when I felt panicked as Mark always put us at ease about the whole process. I would definitely recommend Mark for any event that requires musical talent! "
