"Hi Mark, We wanted to say thank you so much for the outstanding music you brought to Alana's wedding on 8th December. Both the music at the church and later at the reception was exceptional. Your interpretation of the Theme from the Secret Garden was beautiful: a tune that Alana had always dreamed of walking down the aisle to since a child. You rocked the church with 'Happy' whilst the register was being signed, even the vicar was moving to the beat! You're ability to play all genres from Cathedral Organ to Pop, Bollywood to Jazz was amazing. We have been asked by so many guests who you were. Of course we gave them your contact details. We hope to see you again for further celebrations in the near future. Once again, thank you Mark, you are the best. With best wishes. "

Gill, thank you for such a fantastic review! It really was a pleasure to play for you all, it was a wonderful Christmas Wedding. Also, many thanks to Neil who helped me move the keyboard so quickly out of the church to the Drinks Reception. "Mark played at my dad’s funeral in the church, and I honestly don’t have the words to express just how incredible he was. From the moment he arrived, early, of course, he took complete control of the music and ensured everything was perfect. As people entered the church, Mark played meaningful music that completely set the tone. It was elegant, thoughtful, and unlike anything I’ve ever experienced at a funeral. It made the atmosphere feel so personal and beautiful, exactly what my dad would have wanted. Later, Mark also played at the celebration of my dad’s life at a stunning manor hotel, and again, he brought everything together with his extraordinary talent and care. He played songs that my dad absolutely loved, weaving them into both the church service and the celebration in a way that was seamless and full of heart. Mark truly exudes talent, but it’s not just his skill, it’s his kindness, his sensitivity, and his ability to read the moment. The day was, of course, deeply emotional and sad, but thanks to Mark, it also felt warm, thoughtful, and full of love. He created something so special. People spoke about the music all day and into the evening, about how moving it was, and how incredibly gifted he is. There is nothing this man cannot do. From hymns to personal favourites, Mark made my dad’s funeral and celebration of life something he would have been truly touched by. I know he would have been overwhelmed to know that someone so talented played for him. Mark, thank you from the bottom of my heart—for your music, your presence, and for helping us honor my dad in the most beautiful way."

"I have recently completed the first of what I hope will be many shows with Mark as my Musical Director on my show "A Portrait of Matt Monro". Mark is without doubt an experienced accomplished musician and wonderful accompanist. His repertoire is extensive from classics to modern and I would thoroughly recommend him to anyone who wants a top class professional pianist, whether for background music at a wedding or dinner event or as a featured pianist. "Mark has performed several times at the RAF Wyton Officers' Mess at major functions and I can say without hesitation that he is a consummate pianist with a very wide and varied repertoire. The equipment he uses is also first class. He is eager to please his audience and is very flexible, adapting to different circumstances as they arise. I have no hesitation in recommending him for all types of functions."

"Gareth was the organist at a civic service at which my brother and I were asked to play trumpet. He met with us, liased with the organisers, provided suitable music and accompanied us. He took the lead with a keen sense of humour, made it fun but was always focused consequently the music at the service received nothing but praise. Subsequently I have practiced a couple of concertos and other works with him accompanying. He quickly and accurately picked up the music. It was a rewarding and enjoyable experience and I look forward to continuing working with him."

"Gareth helped us achieve a dream. We had discovered a Victorian ancestor had had quite a bit of music published, which we had been able to copy, but not being musicians, we didn't know what to do next. I wanted to have the music recorded as an Xmas present for my husband and found Gareth's details on line. I went to him in early December so it didn't leave much time, but he still managed to learn and record one of the pieces for Colin for Christmas Day, and since then he has recorded all of the music on two CDs for us. From the start he was so helpful and accommodating - meeting with me to look at the music, giving a clear time-scale and cost, and then presenting us with two very professional CDs. His playing is just beautiful, and he explained that as some pieces were songs, he'd had to record the main melody and then dub in the soloist's part on top (that's a non-musical explanation of what I understood Gareth to say!) He went to such lengths to make everything perfect, keeping us regularly informed of how things were going, and his costs were very reasonable for the amount of work involved. If we find any more music, we'll certainly ask him again."

"Gareth is brilliant! I did a saxophone Diploma a few weeks ago, and my arranged accompanist pulled out just a month in advance, but Gareth stepped in (in spite of an extremely busy Christmas season) and made time to rehearse with me thoroughly and accompany me in the exam. By the time the test came round I felt totally confident and prepared. His accompaniment was excellent, he communicated with me and followed my quirky timings, he responded to emails really quickly, and he's also a lovely guy."

Your music set the perfect atmosphere at the Belvedere, thank you for learning our requests quickly which were played with ease, and you even accompanied our guest West End singer without a run through and no sheet music! Many of our guests commented on your flawless performance and variety of music, Elton John, David Bowie and even Bollywood themes, amazing!
